The breakfast, hot and just enough to eat. The closeness to Funny Girls which was our venue for the night and also the railway station and they did let us leave our bags when we checked out. The state of the room when we arrived, dirty sink, rubbish in the bin and a pizza box and dirty cups. We had to open the window straight away. When we asked for it to be sorted we felt the owner didnt actually believe us but when we got back it had improved. There was a black mark where plug had sat on the sink! The following day the owner told us cleaner hadn't finished the room and we were early. He tried to tell us we had arrived at 1 when we actually arrived at 2. We told him the train only left our end at 12.30 and it's a 1 1/2hr journey thus arriving in Blackpool at 2 and we had to walk down to their hotel. He made us feel as if we were in the wrong the whole time even asking what time we had got in as they closed the bar at 2.30 and we weren't in then. We were actually tucked up in bed by 11.50!!!

The staff were a friendly couple of men but lacked a little on personal appearance, they refuse stag/hen parties so you can be sure of a safe family b&b. the location is within 1 min of funny girls, 4 min to see front, 10 min to tower. They went all out to make us feel welcome n put a mini disco on for the 5 people in that night. Very pleasant worth the price but don't pay cheapest price and expect the ritz as rooms are basic but clean! The food is cooked on a budget too but was edible n included in the price so can't really complain for £17.50 per person.

Staff/owners were awful, extremely unfriendly and put out when asking for simple things. They had no customer service skills. Room was filthy , white marks all over sheet and chewing gum on duvet cover. Staff were awful when a confronted them regarding this. You shouldn't let this b&b be on your web site it should be shut down

There was a stuffy smell as soon as you walk in. We were not shown to our room but left to find it ourselves. We went out for the evening but on return at 10.45 we were locked out as there was no door handle to open the front door. We called the hotel and knocked on the door but no answer. We ended up getting help from a neighbour who sent my husband to a cpl of the local bars to look for the owner while my young children & i sat outside at 11 o'clock at night freezing. When my husband came back with the owner he could not even get in!! he went round the back and managed to wake his staff who very grumpily came down & opened the door to let us in, but by this time my young daughter was in tears and freezing cold. We stayed for one night and that was enough, not even a single apology was given to us either that night nor at breakfast the next day. They didn't even ask if my kids were ok. Very rude!!

We stayed on the 10th Aug. for the weekend we were greeted at the door wearing a very sweaty tee-shirt which he wore the next day as well as serving breakfast. All the hotel was very shabby with small rooms saying that the bed was clean, would definitely would not stay there againOnly saw the owner once the chap who helped Andy was very nice and helpful, but looked dirty. avoid going there.

Hated everything about it except the location The smell when you first walk in is disgusting, staff are really unfriendly , the room was in a state with holes in the bathroom door and things hanging off the walls , I would definetly not recommend this guest house to anyone it just ruined our weekend.

room reasonably clean, adequate accomodation for a cheap price. breakfast provided a range of foods suitable for adults and children. staff not particularly friendly, did not receive a warm welcome. Hallway smelled of dog , or something damp on entry. As the hotel staff own a dog, dog hairs were found on the bed.
