Everything, from the moment we stepped in until we leave. We spent 3 nights, from Thursday to Sunday, ate there twice - lovely food and good choice of wines, had tasty and varied breakfast, enjoyed the true fire in the bar, the hot chocolate and coffee in the room. Lovely room with a huge comfy bed, slept well all nights. Wilton is a lovely village with pubs, a surprisingly interesting Italianate church, a few pubs and shops and even a Lloyds' bank branch. I had choosen to make our base here to explore Stonehenge and Salisbury and celebrate my husband's birthday and it was great to see how he did approved everything, from the true fire, porridge, cooked breakfast, the quality of the cofee, the beer well kept, etc... to bedroom, bed, bathroom and facilities. The owners are there all the time assuring excellent service and customers satisfaction. We stopped at Oxford in the way back home on Sunday and John helped us with the directions to the Bodleian Library, A perfect break!
