Accommodation, atmosphere, food, wifi and hosts look after guests
The staff were excellent. The restaurant was also excellent and reasonably priced. The general ambience (particularly the beautifully decorated tree) created a lovely festive feel and made our stay special.
Having to take suitcases up two flights of stairs. However, we were helped with our luggage so not a problem.
The staff and the whole experience were both fantastic! I would definitely return. A great atmosphere, super food and an all round super stay.
Whilst visiting family in the area we stayed for one night at the Pembroke Arms. The bedroom was cosy with a very comfortable king size bed. We also had an evening meal there. My husband had the fillet steak which he said was one of the best he had eaten. The breakfast was also very good.
comfortable accommodation clean environment good breakfast convenient location
Lovely room, excellent staff, superb breakfast. Couldn't have asked for anything more. Having used numerous hotels up and down the country, value for money The Pembroke was second to none.
Leaving to go to work.
My wife and I traveled all over the UK for 2 weeks. This was out favorite place we stayed. Great restaurant, comfy beds, and Jon at the front desk is an all star host! Highly recommend staying here if you are in the area!
One of the best hotels we have stayed at in England. We will certainly be staying here again in the future when visiting the area.
I loved the friendliness of a cosy family run hotel with homemade Christmas decorations and warmth of the fires. A very attentive service and nothing was a bother. I travelled with my 80 year old mum and the hotel didn't have a lift so the stairs were quite difficult having said that the owners moved us to a lower level room the second night of our stair which was really nice. A very comfortable and relaxing stay with excellent breakfasts
Great stay, the room was lovely and clean and very spacious. Excellent breakfast. Thank you.
Furnishings .Cosy and warm welcome.
Noisey air conditioning plant Shower cubicle very small.
Staff were lovely, the entire experience was superb. We opted for the Half Board option and it was fantastic value for money.
The whole stay
Only stayed for 1 night
Close to Stonehenge and Salisbury Cathedral. Lovely meals
The good value deal. Location, breakfast choices. Good size car park, friendly helpful staff. Fantastic room, good size comfortable bed. Great shower. Tea & coffee (fresh ground) inc. decade. Good TV in room.
Nothing. Everything good.
A warm welcome and taken to a beautiful maroon room with huge bed and a very full tea/coffee tray. Meals were wonderful. Staff helpful
From the first minute of arriving you were made to feel welcome ,in our case from the hotel owner Ido. A well made log fire greets you as your walk through to the reception .the well stocked bar we thought to be very reasonably priced and a couple of real ales were a bonus. The three course meal was of an excellent standard more like fine dining than hotel fare .Staff were very attentive and friendly . The breakfast menu was comprehensive and set us up really well for the busy day ahead . All in all a very pleasant experience.
Great location which gave the option to visit many places Hotel was excellent We stayed in "Nightingale" themed room which was very comfortable Bar and lounge areas very relaxed and again decorated in the theme of the hotel Staff were excellent Food was excellent It was really good value for the price and we will be going back in the Summer
Excellent value for money - able to book for just one night which is not always the case at weekends, in some places. Really polite and welcoming staff. Comfortable and elegant room, cosy on a dull and wet evening. Delicious freshly-cooked breakfast. So much nicer than an impersonal buffet breakfast in larger hotels.
Staff were very professional and helpful, food was very good quality the room was immaculately clean and the hotel was in a great location for jumping on the bus for Salisbury.
The rooms were comfortable, well equipped and nicely decorated. There were nice touches such as real coffee and milk in the room. The location was quiet and not too far from Stonehenge. Both breakfast and dinner were delicious and huge portions.
