Nice friendly staff, ample car parking onsite
We got misinformation from staff about the time of breakfast. The shower didn't work very well...
Ambiance, kind staff, super breakfast.
Quality of accommodation and friendliness of staff.
Staff tried to make it Home from Home.
The fact that at only 18.00 hrs the pub was full of drunk men, two of which thought it would be funny to go outside to the resturant window and show their bare backsides to the diners, not acceptable. Also the music was so loud in the resturant, it made you want to leave asap, it felt almost deliberate. The food was over priced. I had the mixed grill, it consisted of a peice of steak that was more grisle and fat than beef, the gammon was very thin and for some strange reason the chicken hab been deep fried ? Chips were far to over cooked. The staff were far more concerned keeping the drinkers happy, that it made you felt like an inconvrniance, wanting to eat.
The room was in a seperate building away from the pub
some pub clients v loud and noisy, but the staff did well to manage them. Not a reason to not stay there. Should be cheaper, but location dictates.
good food, no frills, simple and effective. Rocket powered wifi. Staff made me an early breakfast - v accommodating.
A little cleaner in the dining area and everything smelt fried even in the morning for breakfast it smelt fried
Breakfast was nice and room was quiet
Location, welcoming, friendly place.
Pleasentnness of the staff. The excellent breakfast in the morning
practically no wifi in room Friday turned up for breakfast at the appointed time of 07.30 only to find the doors locked with no sign of life inside - not happy
wifi - in the bar perfect in the room no connection all week
Wifi in room non existent
If your looking for luxury this isn't for you but if you want value for money then this is the place
Location was excellent for us
This property is badly in need of a refurb. Everything seemed 'grubby'
Location for our visit
as a regular visitor, i find the staff friendly and helpful
not particularly clean; foyer smelled of beer; toilet seat was broken; overhead light fixture in bathroom was broken; bedside lamp didn't work; an alarm went off in the lobby in the early morning that no one responded to. I will not return.
close to Heathrow
Location was close to were I needed to be
A real family run Hotel in a good location near the motorway. Good food, good beer, good breakfast what else do you need.
central heating late going on in the mornings breakfast too late for me
I found the staff a little odd. No food available at the pub Sun pm and only 1 place to eat that we could walk ti Limited choice of breakfast the next day not full choice of cooked items.
Not a lot

Laurie and his staff made my Mum & I extremely welcome. The service, food and hospitality was second to none. Definitely return.
