Our host Gill, the owner, made us very welcome and cooks a magnificent breakfast, including home-made vanilla yoghurt. The whole place was immaculately clean and the bed was supremely comfortable. A Georgian house, full of character and close to the seafront. Would definitely stay there again. Nothing to dislike.

Lovely furnishings and decor, very attentive owner, super breakfast in the morning. Beds very comfortable. The shower/loo room was very cramped in our room, and the hot water in the shower took ages, at least 10 minutes, to get right so that we werent scalded or frozen. It was affected by another bedroom flushing their loo.The children's room (the twin) was fine.

Lovely owner, really helpful and friendly. Excellent breakfast. Extremely comfortable bed. Free parking. Tiny bathroom. V. busy main road directly outside so front rooms could be noisy. We had room at back which was v. quiet.

Excellent accommodation. Yes, the bathroom is small but I prefer a bathroom in the room rather than a a walk down the corridor to a larger bathroom. Lovely breakfast and a very welcome cup of tea when we arrived. The weather changed.

- Owner was good and kind - The B&B itself was OK and the room was spacious, warm and big enough - Location was good, about 15 mins from Train station Portsmouth Harbr and 12 mins from the spinaker tower. It is also nicely located if you are going for some walking as well because it is in the midle distance wise from almost everything - Breakfast was good typical B&B breakfast (full english and had some fruits as well) Two things i would consider as bad. - The price is high for a B&B unfortunately - The bathroom was very small

Lovely atmosphere, very relaxing. Particularly liked Gill's homemade vanilla yoghurt, fresh fruit, tea and locally sourced food for a full English breakfast personally cooked and served by a warm and inviting Gill. Very nice indeed. Plus a very comfy bed and pillows! A perfect B&B. Not "didn't like" but would "have preferred" a proper bathroom rather than a caravan style sealed unit, even if this mean't having a smaller bedroom area. But this would not stop me revisiting or recommending to friends and family.

Friendly staff, very welcoming, helpful. Clean and bright. Lovely breakfast, plenty of it. Quiet, comfortable room despite being on main road. Nice distance from Southsea sea front and common. Very 'compact' bathroom! but this was sufficient for two nights. Quite a long walk to centre of Portsmouth.
