These serviced apartments are situated on the bank of the River Thames in London, with picturesque views of Canary Wharf and the O2 Centre. They have a boutique feel, and come with free Wi-Fi.
Score from 1571 reviews Fabulous
Large rooms, good parking, clean and easy access out of London. Good value for what we paid.
Not much in the way of dinning out within walking distance.
Service, style, staff
Lovely hotel which is walking distance from tube and bus routes. Possibly the friendliest welcome we have ever had in any hotel. Staff were really helpful. Great to have a fridge in the room too.
I am nit picking to put something here....but rooms were not the largest.
just about everything
nothing I can think of
Lovely building, clean modern and tasteful rooms
Original room did not have air-con. No bar, no tea/coffee in room, no restaurant.. Expensive for such limited facilities.
Neatness of the rooms and politeness of staff.
No provision for air conditioner in the rooms. Few varieties of items on breakfast menu.
Enjoyed my stay at the Pillar Hotel, love the hotel itself, the design and atmosphere. Rooms are decorated well and also very clean and comfortable. Hotel staff were very helpful and approachable. Will definitely recommend to others.
The room I stayed in had no air conditioning. Although windows sufficiently did the job,at night when blind was down room could get a little on the warm side.
Very modern bathroom and comfortable bedding. Cleanest hotel we have ever stayed in.
Could not see out of window as it was too high. Coffee machine in room would have been nice.
most of the things
shower head, too small soap that was not replaced the other day.
Ridiculously small and potentially dangerous bathroom !!
Short walk to the tube. Staff were lovely and room was smart and comfortable. Main building is beautiful.
We had a room in the annex building which is on the roadside so quite noisy and the free wi-fi didn't extend.
Lovely room, very clean, staff very friendly and helpful.
Realy interesting building - good staff - nice breakfast
no teamaking in room
The hotel was a very pleasant surprise; beautiful facility, great decor, and the staff were all really friendly and helpful. We definitely will stay there again if we return to the same area.
It would have been nice (for the price) if breakfast was included. We didn't eat at the hotel, so I can't attest to the quality of the food.
Clean, modern and inviting
first class in every way
The hotel is really great, the staff is friendly, the building is fantastic. The breakfast is not really continental as advertised (which we got complimentary, thank you again) but superb quality kosher selection. London - Kensington is 20 minutes drive only. We will definitely visiting again and recommend to all our friends. Very satisfied. Good value for money. Even it is not a cheap hotel but the size of the room is 5 times bigger than in London downtown for the same amount and here parking is free.
Comfy bed, lovely welcoming staff. Excellent location and easy reach of north circular, Brent Cross Shopping Centre and the tube at Hendon,
Lack of restaurant facilities and no kettle in the room
Staff very friendly and helpful and a relaxing atmosphere
friendly and quick response to requests. Welcoming reception area and warm greetings from staff, and cooperation with luggage storage etc delightful environment...garden ..coffee lounge..etc, Quiet, and restful atmospherel Simply super!
We were a party of two, one of whom is disabled. We were offered a specially- adapted ground floor twin room, which was spacious and very comfortable with good and spacious bathroom facilities. The room looked out over a lovely grassy quadrangle. We liked the unusual layout and peaceful feel of the hotel. We also liked the ample parking, the very comfortable beds, and the sofa in our room. The building itself is unusual and attractive. Location great for us - easy access to mi and central London. Young man on reception deserves a special mention as he was very helpful and pleasant at all times.
Disappointed at lack of tea and coffee making facilities in our room. There were communal facilities elsewhere in the hotel, but this is not always the best option for a disabled person. Also, in the communal kitchenette, the water was heated not in a kettle but in one of those contraptions that never lets the liquid reach boiling point so the tea we made did not taste brilliant. Communal coffee/breakfast room itself, however, was very a very peaceful and attractive place to sit, though unlike other reviewers, we never saw any cakes! We did not have breakfast at the hotel because the £165 we paid for the room did not include it and it would have cost us a further £25 for two continental- style breakfasts. We chose to breakfast at the nearby Hendon Bagel Bakery, which was cheaper and very good.
Free parking, 10 min walk to tube station, nice quiet rooms.
No tea/coffee making facilities in rooms or evening meal available.
had to walk around 15-20 min from underground station. no restaurant for dinner
room was way too small!! clostrophobic, we weren't told this at time of arrival !!!
Staff were extremely polite and service better than expected
Thought I had booked a twin bedded room, but got a double and they insisted that is what I had booked. changed to a bigger room with bigger bed
