A beautiful Arts & Crafts building, previously a convent and now run as a kosher hotel.Very peaceful and a wonderfully comfortable bed. Discreet but excellent service. No traffic noise at all overnight.
The room had not been used for a while so the shower drain was rather smelly, but that is a very minor quibble.
The staff were very welcoming and friendly, the room was so lovely, comfortable and clean we were gutted we only had one night. We would recommend to everyone.
The only drawback was that at £175 for 1 night I would of expected breakfast to be included but it wasn't, saying that it was New Year's Eve.
The room was very spacious and lovely.
There was no bar and there was no hair dryer or ironing board. Water took a while to heat up. Breakfast was not what we would of expected and expensive.
Very warm and comfy rooms with a lovely team of staff.
Staff extremely helpful and were able to give me very early check in and late check out both of which were extremely helpful and appreciated
Expensive especially compared to other hotels in the area. Although we had a very good stay and no complaints cost was double other hotels and may mean that we would stay elsewhere on another occasion
decor, location and proximity to the tube in Hendon
Whilst the decor is attractive there were frayed towels and loose floor tiles in the bathroom and I especially didn't like that there was no tea/coffee making facilities in the bedroom, although its available in paper cups down the hallway. Which doesn't quite fit the price of the hotel and also the boiler didn't work, so we couldn't get a cup of tea and there was no alternative available. I also didn't like that there was no option for a full English breakfast at the hotel. It isn't clear that it is purely a continental breakfast. I think the Hendon Hall Hotel down the road is better value for money.
Staff was very friendly bed very good
Got waken up by next door hotel room as there was a argument between a couple lasted about 15 mins
Friendly staff, lovely bagels at breakfast, easy access to Middlesex University for meeting.
Beautiful traditional building, very peaceful. Helpful friendly staff. Modern spacious bedroom & bathroom, beautifully decorated & spotlessly clean. High quality bedlinen and very comfy bed, pillows and duvet.
tea/coffee making facilities are not in room, they are in the corridor which is odd - especially when wanting a hot drink late at night or early in the morning. No restaurant in the hotel although they do provide a continental breakfast buffet
the hotel staff were amazing. the hotel was so unique and peaceful. immaculate rooms and lovely central courtyard. breakfast was first class.
good location if visiting that area but if using public transportation only not ideal
Paid 125lb per nite and billed me for breakfast
Crina at the reception was very good, she was very helpful
The staff were polite A quite environment
The room The washroom The fact that there was no bath, no room service, no tea/coffee making facilities. Facities and everything else- It was a terrible experience
Friendly very clean hotel with character. Relatively expensive but room was spacious.
Wanted a bath but room with bath on 1st floor.no lift and difficult stairs so had to compromise.
Very interesting building
Plenty of parking available Comfortable bed Very clean
Not 24 hour reception Difficulty accessing room with digital keypad Lack of breakfast tea No bar or lounge area Not value for money
Lack of catering facilities on site & no tea/coffee making facilities in room
clean and tidy rooms and throughout hotel very comfortable bed nice quiet location easily accessible free parking only a short pleasant walk to tube station through a lovely neighbourhood
creaky floor in corridor outside room quite small room no air con or other means to regulate temperature
The room was clean
Some of staff not very well, we book double room and it is so small the hotel was difficult to find
Large rooms, good parking, clean and easy access out of London. Good value for what we paid.
Not much in the way of dinning out within walking distance.
Picturesque and free parking
There is no mention on the website of this hotel being a predominantly Jewish and kosher hotel. Therefor there is no bar or full English breakfast available. Had this have been advertised I'd of booked elsewhere. The rooms are basic - although clean for the most part. Air con and shower didn't work, overall over priced.
Service, style, staff
Lovely hotel which is walking distance from tube and bus routes. Possibly the friendliest welcome we have ever had in any hotel. Staff were really helpful. Great to have a fridge in the room too.
I am nit picking to put something here....but rooms were not the largest.
just about everything
nothing I can think of
Lovely building, clean modern and tasteful rooms
Original room did not have air-con. No bar, no tea/coffee in room, no restaurant.. Expensive for such limited facilities.
