Breakfast was very poor, almost inedible, terrible coffee.
The location/the Staff and our room was spectacular new and with panoramic views.
It was a pity that the food was always cold on arrival. I sent back my cold poached eggs to get the same again.
A very friendly and comfortable hotel. The staff are helpful and courteous, the food is good and the location is superb
the hotel is really nice all was perfect
the bed was not enough hard
friendly staff, good location, very nice breakfast brought up to our room, nice sized room with good view, would stay again
I liked everything
Staff were welcoming and helpful. View from restaurant was lovely. Waiters and waitresses were attentive and breakfast was varied and well cooked.
The only thing we would have liked, was due to the time year we came, was an area inside for us to sit with our dog.
Bar food was excellent. Good nights stay.
Unfortunately the pool was out of action on the night of my stay and so this was a little disappointing.
Old fashioned charm with modern day excellence, food, staff and location excellent.
No breakfast buffet
I would have preffered to have knowqn the costs attracted VAT which in my opinion was not entirely clear
Bedroom was very comfortable with excellent facilities
I found it rather too hot in the hotel especially in the bedroom, could have set the temperature a little lower.
Staff were brilliant, we missed breakfast but they rang our room and asked if we,d like it brought up. Will definitely go back
A pleasant stay was had, probably the cleanest Hotel I have ever stayed in. Plenty of parking, excellent wifi that actually works, nice tidy cooked Breakfast with superb sea views. Professional and welcoming staff. Very reasonable bar prices too.
All good Great relaxed atmosphere Beautifully cooked food Attentive staff Fabulous views
Weather could have been nicer
I've stayed at this hotel four times in total... the coastal views are first class, and even if your room does not have a sea view you can enjoy them in the restaurant or lounge. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Good standard of cleanliness
Decor in the last room I stayed in a bit old fashioned... faded print in a picture frame for example. Certain areas looking a bit tired but does meet the standard of its star rating.
Friendly staff, nice location
the staff were very friendly & helpful; I had to leave very early one morning & they arranged for me to have very early breakfast at 5.15; good parking - lots of spaces off street & only 5 mins walk to sea front
Position up hill with view away from centre. Also plenty of parking. Tea and coffee making facilities were good.
The decoration was very poor and needs updating. Also the single beds were a bit 'wobbly', with a lot of movement in the matress. There were sea views from restaurant, but we had table away from windows.
Location, staff friendly, good parking, walking distance for pubs and restaurants
Having to sit at allocated table for breakfast.
food, service, peace and quiet and comfort
not being able to have well behaved dog in bar area
Wonderful views and location. Request for table next to window at breakfast and Sunday lunch was arranged.
We noticed that there were larger double rooms and felt ours was a bit small compared to others. We had booked well in advance. Although we had lovely sea view. We were unhappy with table on the first morning we had breakfast. It was close to large noisy party of guests and close to kitchen far from window. We did take this up with hotel and although we were given a long explanation as to why I was not satisfied. However next morning we were given a table by the window. They did appear to be many better free tables than the one we were given.
The location was good as we enjoy walking. Staff were friendly. Also pet friendly
My breakfast both moring wasn't that good The down side on pet friendly was that you couldn't sit in the lounge area with your dog
Staff were very friendly and the hotel was very clean. Food in restaurant was excellent.
The room had the most amazing sea view. From the moment we walked through the door until we checked out everyone was always very friendly and couldn't do enough make our stay a happy one. Can't wait to go back again.
