Mattress too soft Duvet too heavy
Faultless, a thoroughly enjoyable stay
Staff and food
Hard bed and banging noises late at night. TV did not work on 2 visits in room 20 and 21.
The hot water took ages to come through and was little mor than a trickle
Pleasant atmosphere Comfortable room with good facilities
On arrival told no food was available
i thought the staff were friendly and the setting was lovely. the entertainment at night was very good a great place would return.
i had a fall down the stairs from top to bottom and an lump appeared on my leg.it dint spoil the day but i was left a little shaken-the staff were really helpful and attended to me right away.
The bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom was modern and stylish. The room was great.
Slightly tired decoration in hallways, but nothing to worry about.
The suite was nice, breakfast lovely and check out staff really nice
No feather pillows, miserable staff on arrival, could not use the bar or restaurant as a wedding was on, instead shoved in a side room with all the atmosphere of a funeral parlour- staff at this stage were unfriendly and unhelpful,
This was our fourth visit and we are planning our fifth. Love the hotel the staff the location and the food 10/10!
We booked a suite as a treat to ourselves. Sold as 'room fitted with luxury power shower' this didn't work and then the shower of the bath had no cold water therefore too hot to use. When we complained in the morning receptionist offered £10 off - great thanks. Stay in the travel lodge up the road.
Very relaxing wonderful staff Breakfast lovely and hot
Bed was a little small as to most hotels these days
Location, friendliness of staff, gardens and well prepared food.
Old battered room and bathroom cold water shower on arrival disappointed. I decided not to bother having a shower after my partner had a cold one. Made my evening out rather miserable as I felt grubby. Awful!
Position and staff
Noise from fans outside when windows open
Efficeint, courteous and friendly staff, quality food, and an ambient atmosphere. The weather showed off the hotel at its best.
Storage space in bedroom not large enough if we had stayed for 3 to 4 nights
ev erything from beginning to leaveing just a beautiful hotel staff very very nice to
The manager took on board what we said, put up a sign to show other guests how to use the shower. Our room was a little dated with the decor but my cousins room was lovely. The manager gave us the room for free and was very apologetic.
The shower was plumbed in back to front so we couldnt get it to work, then we had to turn the taps on the sink and the bath till the hot water came out of the shower, we didnt have enough time to run a bath and the staff were too late attending, it spoilt our night. Other members of the wedding party were also complaining about their showers too. We had a meal in the restaurant and £19.95 was added to our bill so we had to mention that too, we felt like we were always complaining but justifiably. On checking out the receptionist was only charging us for 1 round of drinks so we had to advise that the bill was more and the other receipt was found.
Staff, location, rooms
Arrived late 21.30. Unable to get food. Had to go to local garage to get a sandwich
lovely staff great food
dated rooms no option for food past 8pm Sunday had dirty water in glass in room stained towels
We stayed in a suite this time (3rd visit) and we absolutely loved it!!!!!
The food was nice and the room was nice surrounding outside was beautifull
Staff was rude, the price of drinks obscene. Lack of organisation. Entertainment rubbish. Breakfast is stated as buffet but isn't and is severed by some sort of Sargent major. Told what we could and could not have.
The food in the restaurant was consistently excellent - great menu cooked to international standards. The staff were friendly and made us feel very welcome.
The shower was very old and almost unusable and the room was generally far too hot with insufficient windows to be able to regulate the temperature. Some rooms had fans which is probably essential.
Nice room, good service and good food
Nice gardens, just a pity about the dog dirt in them.
From the moment we arrived we were made to feel that we were a nuisance to the bar staff. We were overcharged £50 for the rooms. Dog dirt on the gardens where the photos of the wedding were being taken. Dated rooms, felt like I had stepped back in time to the 80s with the decor. Rang twice to speak to the manager and to this day still hasn't returned any calls. Certainly won't be staying here again.
