Breakfast room could have had more atmosphere, cosier as it is a nice fire.
My room was very nicely furnished.
No evening meals served, although there is a pub which serves good food nearby.
The room and breakfast were good.
Location was on a noisy road junction, the hotel was only bed and breakfast and lacked any atmosphere. The pictures were much better than the reality. We felt sorry for the owners who are finding the current economic climate in the UK very difficult.
Helpful staff - provided a torch for us, useful for us to walk to the nearest pub for a meal. Cheerful interaction with guests at breakfast. Great breakfast. Fantastic location. Lovely to stay in an inn with a thatched roof in such a picturesque village.
The room could have been a bit cleaner - the carpets were a little grubby.
Good breakfast. Owners very helpful and room good size and bed good.
Whist the bathroom is a good size the toilet plumbing needs to be updated.
Room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was nice Friendly Lovely looking room
No food served Looks a little deserted On closer inspection, Mouldy shower curtain... Dated bathroom utilities.
I did not find the male person I spoke to very helpful.
Excellent breakfast.. Pleasant and friendly hosts. Location, easy access to Oxford.
Eating out within walking distance of the Plough is very limited - one pub.
Cleanliness of room and linen, nice staff, quiet nights sleep, comfortable bed.
No bath (I like to soak!), décor was a bit tired.
Location, reasonable cost and food.
We were made very welcome and made to feel at home. Staff were very helpful and considerate of all our needs, even providing us with a torch when we went out in the evening as the street lighting was not that good in the area. In all we were very well looked after and the breakfast was excellent.
Beautiful atmospheric old thatched building with exposed beams. Good breakfast. Friendly and efficient staff. Amazing bedroom with ancient wonky plaster, even wonkier roofbeams, sloping floor. Huge bathroom.
In the bedroom, we heard everything from the reception / eating area below us - but worth it for the wonderfully idiosyncratic room. Rather hard to find the Plough as it is poorly lit.
Very big room, with lounge chairs that made the room very comfortable. Huge bathroom. Owners were pleasant. Breakfast was OK. Tricky walking access to the local pub to have dinner- have to walk on the road that has no street lights, take a torch or have porch app on your phone.
Mary and John, the hosts were welcoming and friendly and worked very hard to make sure we were happy and satisfied during our stay. Our room had two very comfortable chairs to view our large television if we wanted to watch it. plenty of useful storage space.
The country location. Far enough away from suburbia. An excellent breakfast. The room and facilities were top notch. Very pleasant host and hostess.
Happy with everything.
Comfortable B+B with great breakfast, very clean with excellent owners. Would recommend to other people.
weekday peak traffic on evenings could be a problem, but no traffic noise.
Spacious room, good freshly cooked breakfast every day
Great breakfast Fantastic power shower Rooms are a decent size, we had the 4 poster room and the bathroom was a good size.
They no longer open the restaurant, I presume they couldn't compete with the barley mow half a mile away Crossing the bridge to the barley mow can be tricky though as its narrow and traffic is busy till quite late in the evening.
Good breakfast, very helpful management and staff.
The location is quaint. Just across the road there's a short walk to a lazy river with a beautiful bridge, longboats, swans - very picturesque. Big room, big bathroom.
The room was so cold, that it felt damp. At least I hope it was because of the cold...
Mini fridge in room was very handy
Sliding door to ensuite difficult to open without a knob Small wardrobe
The place does not serve food.
Courtesy, helpfulness and kindness of the staff. Always cheerful. Couldn't have been more helpful including arranging taxis in advance, for us. Very nice room and excellent breakfast. Varied menu with good choices and fresh fruit
