Big bathroom and bath. Breakfast was good.

Carpet rather tired especially the entrance stairs. The grounds could be more attractive.

Location - v. near Culham Science Park

Large bedroom and bathroom. Lovely and warm and spotless. Staff were all very friendly and inviting. Excellent value for money. Would certainly stay there again.

Friendliness of the owners.

A lovely pub with a welcoming log fire on our arrival. We stayed in the four poster room and for the price, excellent value for money. Very friendly staff. The restaurant serves chinese food which is delicious.

As the room is near to a main road there is some traffic noise.

What a surprise. I nearly drove back out when I saw the location and the obvious accomodation array in 'huts'. Lovely attentioin to detail, clean, warm, cosy. Lovely people and...the best and probably the lowest price chineese meal we have eaten in the uk. Same stuff but cooked properly, freshly and without msg! The Plough is Easy to find. Generous breakfast. We will be going back and recommending it to friends.

Hated having to book breakfast requirements as soon as arrived, when all youy want to do is stop and relax. I took the logical step and booked full breakfast...and then, as must often happen, couldnt face it all in the morning - what a waste! They really should het rid of this practice. It spoils the otherwise really lovely stay. Breakfast in the bar 'snug' the next morning was very dingy. We should have asked for it to be served in our lovely room. SDont book this is you think you are going to be in a little cute village off the track. It is right on the A415 'ring-road'. But roadnoise was minimal as it lies lower than the road.

Everything! The staff were friendly and couldn't do enough to make us welcome. The room was spotless and the four-poster comfortable. We are definitely going again.

No chair in bedroom.

Set in a rural location this should be a fabulous little hotel, however at the £90 I paid would expect better. Room was really cold and took hours to warm up from the single radiator, hotel surroundings look like a building site and the car park was icy and ungritted. No bath, though to be fair it didn't advertise one and the room itself was old fashioned though not in a classic way. The television channels cut out, in the end completely. When I brought this up, I was asked if I'd moved its position at all? £90 may be the going rate for this area in a classic Inn, however this hotel does not come up to going rate standards. Sorry, huge disappointment

It is a bit remote and in winter there are very few customers in bar or accommodation, so don't go expecting lots of atmosphere in the bar.
