I was with a party of six and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely old pub. Olde worlde charm; log fires; beams; quirky furniture etc. with the rooms comfortable and very well appointed.....everything you need. The staff are friendly and efficient but a special thanks is reserved for Theresa and Eileen who were great. We had an evening meal and breakfast which were both of an excellent standard. Many thanks to all at The Plough.
We should have stayed longer.
Greeting on arrival was very welcoming and professional. Given all information we required and the lovely proprietor showed us to our rooms rather late in the evening. Couldn't have asked for more!
Kept banging our legs on the bed frame which protrudes beyond the edge of the mattress at the bottom end of the bed frame.
A warm greeting on arrival, bringing us a pot of tea and coffee. Lovely cosy atmosphere of the bar and restaurant with log fires and Christmas decorations. Newly decorated bedroom with modern ensuite. Tasty food, good value for money.
The friendliness of everyone at The Plough, the beautiful location and the food was amazing.

Owners and staff very welcoming, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and delicious dinner and breakfast.
The hospitality of Teresa, who offered tea and coffee while we waited for our room having arrived early The excellent breakfast and dinner.
Could not log in to WIFI anywhere. Only 4 terrestrial channels on the bedroom TV.
A short notice booking resulted in a lovely pub with a excellent restaurant and charming staff who made us feel welcome and looked after us into the evening and following morning at breakfast.
Parking just outside. Landlady really lovely and went the 'extra mile' to make people feel at home. Surprised at how good the food was...really enjoyed it
The standard of the rooms and bathrooms was superb. The food was also brilliant and plentiful. We also loved the atmosphere and log fires!
All the staff were exellent especially the two ladies that run it. My friend and I were there for two nights and were doing the Yorkshire 3 peaks. My Friend was injured and taken back to the hotel and the two ladies couldn't of been more helpful. They were fantastic, really made sure she was comfortable. The food is excellent, the beds are comfortable and the room was nicely decorated I cannot fault them. I recomend 100%
Very limited wifi reception but hey if thats all there is to worry about! I would stay there again in a heartbeat
We stayed there while we accomplished the 3 peaks challenge. We loved every moment of being there! We were made to feel at home the minute we got there. Theresa is such a lovely lady and catered for all of our needs while we were staying there. The staff were lovely and helpful, the food was amazing, the place was so homely! I will be definitely returning.

Lovely cosy place with great food . Theresa looked after us really well. She arranged a Buck's Fizz breakfast in bed for my partner's birthday and a packed lunch for a picnic in the Trough of Bowland.
