Welcome, food, cleanliness and attention to detail.
Food excellent, room excellent, facilities excellent, location absolutely brilliant.
Shortage of hot water.
Our room was beautiful, it was light and bright with lovely furniture. The food was delicious and we will definitely go back and stay again... Its a lovely relaxed place to stay.
Excellent welcome, room and bar. Very clean, great food. We felt very comfortable and happy in our stay
It is quiet location, off street parking, friendly staff, excellent food and a good atmosphere. Probably the best place we have stayed at.
best pub i have ever stayed in
could not find a fault
Staff , atmosphere also excellent food
Everything. Great welcome and little extra effort to make sure the right beer was on tap! And I had a great dinner
Wi- Fi a bit iffy
Needed a base to be able to reach Skipton and Settle easily to attend a wedding. Found this oasis, couldn't have been better, location, comfort, and welcome all first-class.
Everything from the time we arrived, very friendly we shall drfinately return, great location too.
Room and location
No help with baggage. Food in restaurant did not reflect that displayed on the web site (false representation) in our opinion. Breakfast was poorly cooked and lacked choice.
Ate in the restaurant 3 nights food was delicious and prices very reasonable for quality of food. Also friendly and welcoming hostess.
We were in ground floor room and were awakened every morning by foot fall noise from bedroom above.
Better view ie not over car park
Excellent food cooked to order. Chef prepared vegetarian options when asked although these weren't on menu.
Very warm welcome, despite our late arrival, and very well looked after in general by friendly staff. Food was an excellent standard (will remember the steak and mushroom pie for a long time). Also enjoyed the choice of two good ales on tap.
Think we were charged double for a round of drinks with our meal but these things happen and we didn't notice till we'd left.
Everything about the plough, absolutely no complaints. Such a lovely welcome by Theresa. We stayed there as we were doing the three peaks challenge. The staff went out of their way to make sure every need was catered for. The room was fabulous with plenty of space and very clean. What can I say about the food absolutely delicious. Definitely will be returning.
Relaxed but attentive service, not at all officious. Food excellent. Rooms very clean, comfortable and spacious. And in a lovely rural location. A pleasure to spend time in.
Lovely clean, comfortable hotel. Friendly staff. Nice breakfasts. Good food.
Delightful view of the Yorkshire Dales from the bedroom window Every room was full, but still the hotel retained a quiet peaceful atmosphere
Narrow time slot for breakfast
Food was consistently excellent
The staff were excellent. Lovely décor, in particular the dining room. Food excellent and affordable. Delightful room. Located in the middle of nowhere but scenic and close enough to Skipton which is a vibrant market town and well worth a visit.
Just a thought - outside benches could do with a "wash & brush up".
The hosts and their food -which was as good as at any UK property we have visited. The property is also in a pretty village and the preace and quiet was enjoyed by both of us.
Nice location great staff, comfortable bar good food, will reccomend to friends, very enjoyable stay.
Very nice place, very convenient for Malham Cove & 3 peaks area of Yorkshire Dales. Excellent evening meal menu, decent value too at £12-15 for a top quality meal.
The "full Yorkshire" breakfast was a bit cholesterol laden and salty for my personal taste, but otherwise everything was excellent.
