Friendly and very courteous staff, and a bit of Craic too. Hotel location was perfect for our stay, very good breakfast ideal place to relax will stay again for sure.
We loved the location. The food was excellent both the breakfast and evening meal. Good value for money. The staff were friendly and helpful.
The big downside was that there was no lift. The room was adequate for one night, it was on the small side and there was no ventilation, we were unable to open the window because of the noise coming from a fan outside.
Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast. Central location.
Shower was a bit cramped
Good breakfast & evening meals
floorboards too creaky
good value for money, the breakfast set you up for the next day.
Built around family's staying all staff really friendly and loved the stay have highly recommended to friends and family already
lot off stairs to climb, food was just fair
Central location, but no sleep disturbance, breakfast excellent, very helpful staff.
Close to town centre. Staff brought cases up to room. Room clean, tidy and spacious.
No lift. My parter had to go up 3 flights of stairs on crutches. Asked for a room on a lower floor but none available. Breakfast wasn't good. Really bad taste. Didn't eat in the hotel on the second morning. Wifi only on ground floor.
Excellent room, size and space. Good bathroom facilities and beds are top notch
the friendly staff and the homely atmosphere
staff friendly, atmosphere warm and welcoming, rooms warm, clean and large bathroom with great shower!
restaurant food great although dessert was a tad disappointing, a basic frozen apple tart with cheap tinned custard
outside presentation of the Port hotel
The mildew like smell on entry and when i opened the 1st hallway door the smell increased when we entered the bedroom the smell of mildew got worse i noticed dampness on the floor of ensuite beside the shower .i dont want to run the place down as i did not see the rest of the building but if i had known the state i certainly would not have paid a deposit of£20 online
staff where excellent and the food was super.
the bed very poir sleep due too a poor mattress.
Close to all required places, friendly staff on arrival and also during stay.
Stairs very short and both kids fell down them wouldn't suit older people at all.
The location is handy
Climbing the stairs,WiFi not great,
Location was in centre of town.
had to asend 56 steps to get to bedroom on 4th floor. no lifts in hotel. Decor very dated. Very big ensuite with a tiny shower and no bath. Ensuite not very clean. Poor quality towels. No car parking facilities.
