Friendly staff, good food and the views wonderful. We would use the hotel again and would recommend to friends. We were in room 104 and the bathroom was cold with an ill fitting window. |

Good location with outlook over the sea. Evening meal and breakfasts were quite good. Decoration shabby, public rooms gloomy and unattractive. Filthy bedroon windows, partly the result of extensive buiding works. Bed uncomfortable, parking problematic. |

Excellent position, the room was very clean and had a nice sea view on the beach; breakfast was good The hotel is being refurbished at the moment but the scaffolding surrounding it was not a problem at all. Inside, it looked a bit tired and the decor quite bland; it needs to be decorated with more character and personality. |

Our room had lovely sea views and the room had just been refurbished. Staff very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the hotel was covered in scaffold, which obscured our sea view. Parking was a problem-there was a car park but small and we had to hand over our car keys so the porter could manouvre cars around. |

Unfortunately there was extensive construction work and rain but dispite this the setting is wonderful and the location close to the train and heart of the town ideal. |

Super hotel, contrary to previous reviews. Yes there is scaffolding but it doesn't interferre with the magnificent views from the restaurant and bar. The food is lovely and well worth staying in for dinner. Great value, we will return. |

A very reasonably priced November weekend package. Inspite of all the ongoing renovations we had a comfortable stay. The evening meal was excellent, exceptional value for money. The staff were all friendly & helpful. |

our room had a single window, which was below ground level and we had absolutely nothing to look at through it. Very poor. |

Staff were excellent, very helpful and pleasant. Restaurant was very good, food was delicious Unfortunately the building was shrouded in scaffolding when we arrived and work was being carried out on roof and upper levels all day. Also the main toilets were very much like public lavatories of old. |
