Saniflow toilet was noisy.
Very friendly. Lovely cooked breakfast.
Lack of facilities inh the village - no pub/restaurant to walk to for an evening meal
Very nice & clean rooms Superb breakfast Welcoming owners
The hosts were very friendly helpful and welcoming.
Everything. Very welcoming and comfortable. Room lovely and everything provided. Breakfast choice good and meals freshly cooked.
Nothing. Everything was there that we needed.
Friendly staff, excellent facilities, lots of lovely touches, a fan in the bedroom in case it was hot and a hot water bottle if it wasn't. Bottled water and a selection of teas, including green. Superb breakfast, choice of 6 cereals, three juices ,freshly brewed coffee. Yoghurts, porridge, scrambled eggs etc. Lovely feather pillows on the beds, usually you get those awful foam ones.
Noise from the post office below when the delivery men arrived at seven a.m., however we were warned about this and it didn't last long.
Powerful shower Very helpful staff
car park could be a little easier to get in and out of.
Very friendly and welcoming. Spotlessly clean. Beautiful rooms. Beautifully decorated. Breakfast was amazing. Highly recommended.
Room and friendliness of Susan & Michael
One of the best value B & Bs I have stayed at. Lovely building, friendly staff, excellent rooms with lots of extras included and a tasty breakfast when you wake up the next day.
Lovely B&B, lovely owners, lovely location!
Well after we arrived we were advised that credit card facilities were not available (even though your website said they were). We were instructed to walk into the town the next morning - a 40 minute return journey only ok because we are fit - to withdraw cash for payment. However two of three ATMS were for UK bankcards only (we are Australians) and the third did not accept MasterCard, Cirrus or Amex. The owner then instructed us to arrange transfer of funds to her nominated bank account. We had to access global roaming to authorise the tranasction. The owner then sent an email a day later advising she had not received payment. I explained international transfers from Westpac Australia to New Zealand can take 3-4 days so the UK may take longer. Five days on she has sent another email 'chasing up' payment. We resent the inconvenience and the accusation we have not honoured payment - all other Booking.com destinations in England and Wales had credit card facilities. As chartered accountants, we don't like 'doing cash' - which we suspect is the scenario. The description of the location on Booking.com was also very misleading - 'in the middle of forest'. It was in the centre of the town.
The staff were friendly and helpful. It was in walking distance to were we wanted to go in the evening. Parking was provided on the premises.
Room was stuffy due to the weather but only had a desk fan perhaps a celling fan would be better. The shower did not work properly.
Always an excellent breakfast and a very comfortable room. I also like all the extras included in the room - chocolate, bottled water, toiletries.
Attention to every detail. Food Excellent. Room very comfortable (what a shower!) Friendly hosts
Very little really.Free parking was a little tricky sometimes but not worth a minus point.
Warm welcome on arrival. Helpful information about the B&B and the local facilities.Early breakfast required as I had an event to attend and this was provided without hesitation. Owners very accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. Room was very nice and the bed extremely comfortable. .A very hot and humid weekend and a fan was available in my room. Parking close by in the grounds.Would certainly book again.
Breafast exccellent & nice friendly atmosphere, Helpful in knowledge of the area attractions (places to go)
We all loved everything from greeting to the friendly goodbyes! Rooms were very well appointed and breakfast verytasty!
Maybe the nois y High Street but that ended at about 10.30
Warm welcome, great breakfast selection
Excellent stay at the Post House. Great room, clean and spacious, house with character. Great breakfast, host could not do enough for us. Recommended. 30 minutes drive to Leicester, ideal for us. Visit Sence Valley Park for a walk in the country nearby
We loved The Post House, the owners were lovely and very helpful, the food was fresh home cooked and the rooms excellent.
We had huge difficulties with phone reception, not just at the post house but all over Leicester.
Made to feel extremely welcome and at home. Everything was good!
Slightly difficult to find.
very friendly, great breakfast, quiet, clean
We were made to feel very welcome from the time we arrived to the time we left. The room was lovely, could not fault it, and the breakfast was very tasty and there was lots of choice if a full breakfast was not your cup of tea, talking of which, you had a choice of different flavours of tea too. Would recommend & would go again. Carol & Tim Davies, West Midlands.
