The bed was very hard
Accommodation was clean and comfortable. The general appearance was nice.
That the bar wasn't open past 11pm on a Saturday night for even for guests. Noisy hot water pipes expanding and clicking all night. Kept us awake. Reception staff didn't even acknowledge us. To busy with mobile phone
the staff in the hotel and the restaurant were very friendly and most helpful a credit to your company
The Bed was uncomfortable very hard. the shower curtain sticks to your body all the time its very annoying.
The friendly staff and a choice of nearby restaurants.
The staff are very friendly
the hotel and the rooms are beginning to get a little shabby and tired. It is miles from the centre of town
we stayed at the Pride of Lincoln, 14th Nov, everyone was Very Good. My only complaint is, in Rooms 18 & 20, there was a tapping the whole time we were there, it seemed to b coming from the wall between 18 & 20, my wife and I were in 20, and my sister, was in 18. When we left Sat morning 15th, there was no one to speak to. It was very annoying, and it made sleeping difficult. But we will stay there again.
Liked the hotel alot. Lovely big rooms. Spacious!!!
Bed was awful. Dipped badly in middle and base creaked no end. A very poor nights sleep.
Excellent welcome at reception. Clean and warm room. Good breakfast served by caring and considerate young lady
Bathroom was for disabled person. Shower was a bit awkward to control.
Service was excellent.
The bed was uncomfortable, there was no substance to it. Unfortunately, for my evening meal I chose the "pie of two halves"; it was terrible, there was no meat in the pie.
cheap evening meals at the restaurant. bath AND shower. quiet.
breakfast was expensive. central heating was off and it was cold.
Ideal location, close enough to Lincoln to see all the sights. Several eating choices onsite and within walking distance. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Room was comfortable and clean, perfect for what I needed and for the price I paid an absolute bargain. Would recommend to anyone visiting Lincoln and stay there again in the future.
Nothing, any issues I had were taken care of by the staff... if you need anything at all they will accommodate!
I liked my whole stay as I always do
Location was good and room was a good size if rather warm.
Noisy neighbours - although staff did speak to them. Room would be really hot in summer as window only opened a few inches. Bathroom needed a better clean. Extractor fan was clogged up so wasn't working properly.
Large clean rooms
We raised a query with the staff and they went out of their way to accommodate us. The staff on the night were extremely friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay there again.
Loved telling relatives we were staying in a windmill even though it wasn't a real one. They didn't know that.
Clean, spacious room.
The wifi was difficult to connect. I did not manage to connect.
I was charged twice for my one night say, but was reimbursed the next day.
Need someone on reception to answer telephone calls and checking guests in. When arriving it is by chance if someone is there to check you in, or you have to go into the pub to find someone, which is unacceptable.
All staff were very polite and helpful. The hotel provided us with a good nights sleep. The restaurant next door was busy and we expected to wait for our food to arrive but were told it would take twenty mins for starters a time that was not exceeded,
our stay was only 1 night
Unfortunately party going on below room. So not much sleep till after 3 am
Friendly staff tried to please but you need to update the mattresses
The mattresses felt like the springs were poking through into your back, they change our mattress but the replacement wasn't much better
The room was spotless and staff were very friendly. The pub next door (attached to the hotel) serves pub food: there is also an Italian restaurant next door too.
It was all ok.
Ability to eat drink and go to your room all at one place
noisey traffic could be a problem for some people but ok for us
Lots of choice of tea and coffee in the room. Certain other hotel chains seem to have economised in this aspect recently... Quietly situated on outskirts with easy access into Lincoln. Beds quite comfortable although mine did move around a lot when I accidentally leant against it! Room was a pleasant temperature and not stuffy.
The bathroom was fitted for disabled people (although I do not know how they would have managed with the shower bath...) However, for myself and my 6ft 2 son this meant having to bend down very low to avoid splashing water around the sink and unfortunately it was all the more awkward for me at the time as I had a bad back. Also, there was nowhere in the bathroom to place toiletries. For one night this did not present too much of a problem but it would not be very convenient if you wanted to stay any longer. It wasn't made clear to us whether this bathroom layout was standard for the hotel or whether we had just been randomly allocated this particular room.
