Facilities very good and excellent food, staff very efficient and friendly
The decor of the main tower needs attention. Decoration in general requires attention.
Excellent facilities employers off the establishment was very polite
Had two brilliant nights, thoroughly enjoyed the weekend ,staff were excellent, meal was great, all in all a great weekend.
Good base to visit surrounding areas
good food and happy staff
Cheap and cheerful restaurant with friendly staff
Nothing worth. Mentioning
location of hotel
the room was in need of a major upgrade paint peeling off the window frame sealant in bath room very discoloured chairs were well worn bed not very comfy
Staff really helpful and very pleasant. Breakfast fresh cooked and very nice.
Room too hot, so not a good night's sleep
The room was clean and comfortable. Staff a little thin on the ground but those on duty were bright and helpful. Perhaps some areas a little shabby around the edges.
Very clean and extremely helpful and friendly staff
First night of two unable to sleep as mattress very uncomfortable. Staff changed mattress for new one ( they are in process of changing all mattresses). Food a bit of a let down. Steak very well done asked for med rare. Did offer to replace but was already half way through meal. Toast at breakfast needed toasting!
Staff all very helpful and friendly
Welcome was good, we had executive room and it was very spacious with it's own dressing area, iron and ironing board. The room was excellent. Extra tea and milk was left on reception to help yourself. We had a meal in the pub/restaurant which was excellent and good value for money with a nice atmosphere. We stayed for a function and they did not have my drink in the function bar. I asked the young lady if I could buy it in the other bar(pub/restaurant and bring it through, she said yes. The young lady in the pub/restaurant suggested I buy 2 and ask them to put one in the fridge for me in the function bar. When I went to collect the second one a different young lady served me Kaylah was her name. She said she would fetch me some more through to save me walking to the pub bar. This was excellent and exceeded my expectations and she deserves special praise, thank you. All in all a good experience and would definitely stay again
Not a lot really but Dressing gowns would have been a nice touch in the executive room (not a criticism by any means though)
The place is tired and out of date. The room was depressing and there is mould in the bathroom around the bath. Stupid things really, the place desperately needs updating.
Advertised room facilities not as advertised. States in room facilities that there are Free Toiletries, Telephone, radio and alarm clock -there were non of these. How could you get wake up call if there was no phone. Had to fix the curtains in room when I arrived as the hooks were broken managed to get some more but had to put them in myself and fix curtains Hotel is on Industrial Estate and although quiet is a long way from city centre. £7.30 for taxi each way. Bar shuts at 11pm and no facility for drink after this time. staff in the bar next door are very slow and do not seem to be interested in anything but how much food they can sell. Would not stay again, although the room itself was comfortable, the rest of hotel lets it down.
Both my mum and I have been poorly and wanted some quality time together, mum felt relaxed with the size of the room because it wasn't cluttered with furniture and she could walk around the room with ease.
Nothing major. The only thing that we didn't like was the noise from the fan in the bathroom. Annoying dot com.
Staff rooms food cleanliness decor
staff very friendly. If you asked for anything they brought it to your room for you.
the room and bathroom looked tired - needed to be re-freshened up
Frankies and Benny's less than 5 mins away
Not much round the hotel to do without a far drive
ERM...nice selection of tea and coffee in room.
Too many negatives to write in short space.
So friendly cater for your needs been here many times love this place so relaxing
excellent staff, resolved noisy neighbour problem
inter connecting door , could hear every word next door were saying
Could not connect to free wifi
Staff were very helpful and professional couldn't fault them. Car parking good, internet was the cloud so you have to have an account but I do so no probs.
The quality of breakfast was poor the toaster was on continuously wasting energy and didn't make even toast the hash browns were like 3mm mild steel sheet. I had to venture outside to get to meals not nice in winter.
Brilliant value for money. Pub built on pub food better than expected. Only stopped one night but would return.
Good location and friendly, helpful staff.
The mattress of the Executive Suite bed was almost dead. Very uncomfortable, and the rusty bathroom windows didn't appeal much either.
