Great welcome from all staff and very helpful with local knowledge of attractions including excellent directions. Food at pub next door was good value in evenings, they also served superb breakfast.

Mattress needed replacing for more comfort

Easy access to Lincoln and coast.

Felt there should be more security. Anyone could walk in and straight up the staircase to the rooms.

The location of this Inn was about 10 minutes from Lincoln town centre where you could explore the Cathedral, Castle and other local attractions. The welcome on arrival was warm and friendly as were all the staff we met. The facilities are basic but comfortable. Our room was quite sizable and we had everything we needed

Food in the pub was good value

The bedlinen throw was stained and the carpets needed a very good hoovering! Very tired decor with the curtains hanging off. Very tired budget hotel. Could hear everything going in in next room such as toilet activities and voices.

Good parking, staff were helpful when you saw them, very easy to find.

There were cobwebs in the room, the bedding was old, the fan in the bathroom was very loud, there were no glasses only plastic ones in the bathroom and when I used one on thr first night it was not replaced for the second night.

Good location for Lincoln and pub was next door no walking and had a good range of beer and drinks. Service in the pub was good and their was lots of table space

Noisy neighbours late at night with banging doors etc We were A46 side of hotel and the noise from the road was excessive. The windows are double glazed and when closed kept most of the noise out but when its 24 degrees u need the windows open. I think the car park side of the hotel more quite

The greeting from the receptionist the lady was great and explained everything to us she answered every question . We needed a ice bucket and we're directed to the restaurant and the young gentleman sent me back to my room and brought the ice bucket to us which was fab. The Fayre and Square was excellent and was of the same standard as the one we use at home. I would truly recommend this hotel best we have stayed in so far and we will use again when we are in the area

The staff were fantastic, couldn't be more helpful.

We must've come on a bad day! The room was absolutely boiling, uncomfortable to be in even with the window open. The function which was on happened to be right below the open window (FYI wouldn't have booked if we knew there would be a loud function on) couldn't close the window because of the heat and had to listen to the 'disco' until midnight. After asking twice the staff finally found a fan for us so we could close the window and perhaps get some peace from the function and unbearable heat. No such luck as the guests and disco could still be heard. Function stopped at midnight but noisy revellers continued to party below the window until 2am! All in all, an okay trip, perhaps if staying in winter and there's no function. Would like to know about functions before booking ideally!

the receptionist on check in was delightful. bed comfortable.

the food in the 'pub' part. emphasis on the bigger the better, chips with everything menu - yeuk. the very few salads did not inspire. ended up with chicken tikka masala and rice - it was what it was. room 1 - a 'suite' was dark and dingy - even with the lights on.
