Very comfy bed, lovely food in the pub and room nice and quiet despite being conveniently close. Friendly staff and only a short walk to Hyde Park or station.
The room was dusty,my friend was allergic to the dust and could not stop sneezing.
Location was convenient, located right next to paddington station and walking distance to the palace and oxford street. The cooked breakfasts were also quite good.
The beds were rather uncomfortable and you only got provided a tiny blanket. Then bathrooms also were not very clean and there was no kitchen available. The small common room was basically unused and not very welcoming.
Value and staff and food and location
The stairs but staff did put me on lower floor, Room needs a chair and table and brighter light,
The location was great very close to underground, buses, shops and food.
After a 20 hour flight we arrived with heavy luggage and were exhausted. We then had to carry our own bags up 3 flights of stairs. We had paid for a private bathroom which was not clean the dustbin was overflowing with waste that was not pleasant to open. We were only given 1 towel each for 3 nights no hand towel and no floor mat. We lifted up the bed when we were packing to make sure nothing had been left behind. What we saw under the bed was shocking and disgusting.
Great breakfast Location. You can find anything that you want nearby. There are Paddington underground station a few meters from the hotel. The Pride of Paddigton Pub is a good option every night when you return to Hotel. I think the beer could be served coldest.
The bathrooms didn't were clean during our stay When we arrived, the room looked like it had not been arranged for our reception.
The staff was great, especially the young guy with tattoos. Breakfast was delicious. The pub was extra, good food and drinks. You can spend a great time there! Location was also good.
Rooms were gray and a little dirty. Everything was old. Mold on the walls in the room and bathrooms.
veryhelpful friendly staff, great location, good hostel layout, spacious room, big shower room
The location was excellent, right across from The Hilton in Paddington Station. The restaurant and bar were lots of fun with good food and friendly, historic atmosphere. .
The slamming doors at all hours kept us awake much of the night. We should have had a couple drinks before retiring.
The place is well located, close to Paddington station and is surrounded by good eating places.
The room was small and we had to stay in bunk beds despite being a married couple.
Good envoirement, breackfast and wi-fi included !!!
Toilettes and showers with bad smell and not well cleaned
Great staff Good food Good price Okay internet
Couldn't get the included breakfast because I was leaving at 7am and it is only served at 8am - limited check in /out times. Limited number of showers Very creaky bed, not sure if it was just mine and the two used in my room at the time or every bed but these two made simply rolling over a large most affair. Nothing I couldn't sleep through... Just felt bad for my roommate.
Seemed a good value, liked the food downstairs in the pub. Too was not ready at 5:00, but that was remedied.
Heavy door from the outside slammed every time someone entered or left. We kept hearing it on the third floor until after midnight
Location was fine. Very close to the Circle Line Paddington stop, but all other lines that stop at paddington require a bit of a walk. They gave us a towel and some shower supplies. Breakfast was decent.
We were ignored by staff every time we went down to the bar/reception. The food we ordered for dinner was very expensive and not good at all, especially for the price. The room we stayed in was at the top of some very steep steps (not fun with suitcases) and smelled horrible. It was also very, very hot in the room, and we couldn't sleep well. The bunk bed made my friend's legs fall asleep on the top bunk and I couldn't sit up on the bottom because it was too short. The price was high and not worth the stay.
Excellent pub with great food and friendly, vibrant atmosphere. Friendly staff.
Squeaky bunks, no air conditioning and very noisy street when we necessarily had to open the window at night.
It is right in London so close to this
I hate everything about it it was like a prison cell lockers has the room no toilet no bathroom in the room bits of ceiling falling down paint is really bad
The location was excellent and the staffs very nice.
Sleeping at night was a bit difficult due so much noise
a good location near Paddington station, good breakfast
heavy smell from kitchen in the room, very noisy ventilation from outside during the night, very small room, no furniture, no lift (no warning in the booking.com), poor internet connection, price absolutely does not correspond to the quality of the accomodation
Position in the city, room, breakfast very good, clean spaces and first of all the understanding and attentive manager and all the staff
the staff was helpful, and spoke a variety of different languages, that said sometimes finding someone who had a firm grasp of English was difficult. food was amazing with local beers.
there were mice the main bathroom was clean but the shower area had tons of mold and the water didn't drain. don't stay here if you mind tons of noise in the evening when you are trying to sleep
was close to train station and easy to find.
The man made me wait ages before showing me the room. Then said I wouldn't get breakfast because I was leaving before 8am. I asked if I could have a discount because I wouldn't get breakfast and he bluntly said no. The other people in the dorm talked on their phones and it was almost mid night. You have to make your own bed and the place looks like a prison cell. Staff very unfriendly
