Comfy rooms, wonderful staff, excellent food! Really enjoyed my stay and would deffinatly recommend!
The food was excellent, staff very friendly, close to the motorway but without the noise. Would love to come back and explore the village a little bit more.
food excellent ,very helpful
Food was good for both dinner and breakfast with pleasant efficient service throughout. Quiet village location but very close to M6.
High price for 'luxury' room that was suffering from serious problems with damp and attendant musty smells.
Location - perfect for walks. Restaurant - good menu and good quality. Huge room
WiFi only in the room so couldn't do any work in the restaurant or garden.
Location close to M6 but feels very rural. Breakfast and service good Drink and snacks in bedroom.
Decor a bit dated.Signs of damp on wallpaper and window cills rotten.
The friendly staff, the fantastic food and the genuine warmth of the Priory make it an easy choice for a stay when visiting family and friends. This was our 2nd time with them and whilst the room we had this time was a little small it had everything we needed. Heartily recommend this little gem in one of the most beautiful parts of Lancashire.
Pleasant staff, Restaurant food excellent, especially the Risotto Room lovely and airy
Noise from the kitchen extractor and parking when busy
A hidden gem with fantastic food and friendly staff Thank you!
the hotel was beautiful. the food was amazing and the location was great for going out and about.
we were in the nicky nook room, it was a beautiful room but it was over the kitchen and the extractor fan for the kitchen was under our bedroom window, the noise was ok not loud at all and it went off at 8.30pm and we were out in the day but the room did have a smell of chip fat especially so with the window open and it was warm weather so we needed the window open.
Friendly Staff - good service Pleasant Café bar Comfy bed Beautiful country walks near by
No hair dryer in room (available from reception though) Could hear the motorway from outside the hotel
Location was lovely, breakfast was beautifully cooked.
I loved the location in a great vibrant village and really good for exploring the Trough of Bowland. Very helpful friendly staff, great value for money, really good food and a lovely outside area for enjoying sitting in the sun
Pleasant, helpful and friendly staff. Food in restaurant very good.
Very noisy floorboards kept wake by people moving around upstairs. Shower room is a big room but no table or shelf to put toiletries on (had to spread them over the floor). No wifi in room for most of stay. Limited access was very slow.
staff, price, food and welcome
shower head needs a clean, bathroom needs a paint and they need to really look at the table in the bedroom (its had a hard life).
Good food with variety and very reasonably priced , as is the beer. I would would not dream of staying in a budget chain when this rural delight is so close to the M6 but out of earshot of the motorway noise. Lovely decor and welcoming staff. Its my 4th stay and I'll be back!
Staff friendly, helpful and high standard of cleanliness. Food excellent.
How friendly , and attentive the staff were, The fact the food was locally sourced . The rooms quaint and comfortable .
Nothing I didn't like.
Very friendly and helpful. Very good dinner and breakfast.
Lack of electric sockets in appropriate places, e.g. Beside dressing table.
The location of The Priory Inn is absolutely stunning and in such a remote and beautiful village. The food was exceptional, the rooms were very clean. Very highly recommended and so worth the money. We stayed in the Grizedale and Ladywell rooms. The Grizedale is a big room with a sitting area and an excellent bathroom on the ground floor - very highly recommended!
I love the atmosphere and tranquility of this hotel. The staff are charming and helpful.
The TV in my room didn't work - so I read a book instead! no bad thing
Good location Pleasant staff Nicely decorated restaurant
Food not fresh i.e. think veg was frozen, potatoes clearly had been microwaved, beef not from a joint Noisy room with extractor from kitchen right outside window on until about 9pm
pet friendly, excellent food, and staff great.
Accommodation was very spacious. Friendly staff. Picturesque setting.
Food - my dinner beef stroganoff was tasteless, my partner's gammon steak was excellent.
