Food was good for both dinner and breakfast with pleasant efficient service throughout. Quiet village location but very close to M6.

High price for 'luxury' room that was suffering from serious problems with damp and attendant musty smells.

Location - perfect for walks. Restaurant - good menu and good quality. Huge room

WiFi only in the room so couldn't do any work in the restaurant or garden.

The friendly staff, the fantastic food and the genuine warmth of the Priory make it an easy choice for a stay when visiting family and friends. This was our 2nd time with them and whilst the room we had this time was a little small it had everything we needed. Heartily recommend this little gem in one of the most beautiful parts of Lancashire.

the hotel was beautiful. the food was amazing and the location was great for going out and about.

we were in the nicky nook room, it was a beautiful room but it was over the kitchen and the extractor fan for the kitchen was under our bedroom window, the noise was ok not loud at all and it went off at 8.30pm and we were out in the day but the room did have a smell of chip fat especially so with the window open and it was warm weather so we needed the window open.

Pleasant, helpful and friendly staff. Food in restaurant very good.

Very noisy floorboards kept wake by people moving around upstairs. Shower room is a big room but no table or shelf to put toiletries on (had to spread them over the floor). No wifi in room for most of stay. Limited access was very slow.

    staff, price, food and welcome

shower head needs a clean, bathroom needs a paint and they need to really look at the table in the bedroom (its had a hard life).

Good food with variety and very reasonably priced , as is the beer. I would would not dream of staying in a budget chain when this rural delight is so close to the M6 but out of earshot of the motorway noise. Lovely decor and welcoming staff. Its my 4th stay and I'll be back!

The location of The Priory Inn is absolutely stunning and in such a remote and beautiful village. The food was exceptional, the rooms were very clean. Very highly recommended and so worth the money. We stayed in the Grizedale and Ladywell rooms. The Grizedale is a big room with a sitting area and an excellent bathroom on the ground floor - very highly recommended!
