Pride of Lincoln by Good Night Inns offers everything under one roof: A striking hotel with dining, a beer garden with an outside play area for children, and parking for over 300 cars.
Score from 438 reviews Good
The staff were brilliant, the food was delicious
The bed was too soft for me & the pillows were a little lumpy, but I do have problems with my back so am fussy when it comes to this. I would still stay again if I were in the neighbourhood
Easy walking distance to city centre, good food to come back to.
Lovely river / canal side location, pub serves good food and breakfast was very nice. Will stay again when next in Lincoln
The food is great. The accommodation is fine as long as you turn up the heating when you arrive. Nice walk into Lincoln, but mind the horse poo on the towpath.
Walls too thin. Noisy guests next door at midnight then for next hour. Then they were having sex at 7.30 am.
Nice Breakfast and good choice of evening meals
No Wifi within the lodge Rooms
Lodge could just do with an update
We fell in love with it as soon as we pulled into car park we were surprised and impressed , the location is brilliant and the service was great , we will be using it again and bringing some friends .
The food choice was varied and quality excellent. Staff helpful and friendly and the location would be great on a warn summer day. Great value and will use again.
WiFi access only available in the public areas so no access from the room.
Everything was great asked for double room after booking a twin and got it . Had friends round for a meal and a massive menu and brilliant food. Will be staying again next time we go to Lincoln
single file track road was very rough
Our stay was relaxing and very comfortable. We enjoyed an evening meal and breakfast. We could have taken advantage of a stroll into town by the river but didn't due to lack of time.
Great Spot Friendly Staff Comfortable Beds Great Food
Sign at entrance , needs illuminating in winter .
First time visiting Lincoln & will definitely be returning to both the city & the pyewipe. Friendly & very helpful staff gave us lots of information to guide us around. Cosy bar area with a real fire, great food, room was lovely & very clean. Location worried me a little as I was driving in as I wondered where on earth I was going but I needn't of worried, we visited on a rainy weekend in November can imagine myself in the summer sat by the canal with a long cool drink.
I like to give an honest review & the only fault I could find (I'm being really picky here!) was that I found the bed too high, but it was very clean & comfortable
Good food and pleasant canalside location not far off main A46
New wifi in Lodge rooms is very patchy. I had some difficulty finding the entrance to the long track leading to the hotel.
All of it
Couldn't fault anything
The food was excellent ...a bit pricey but lovely .
Lady owner miserable , cobwebs in corners of the room and on ceiling, bed sunk down on one side , pillows paper thin , doors noisy and room very dated, in colour and decor .
great location, fab breakfast and in summer time you could walk to Lincoln and backa long the canal
no wifi , sign to find it could be place 100 yards before turn off
good size room clean nice breakfast (when it finally arrived!) Beautiful surroundings
really slow breakfast service with lack of staff, extremely unattentive, took over an hour for full english only. Cerial out but no bowls, milk spoon etc No juice out and was not offered any Only 1 really flat pillow per person on bed Was promised fold out bed and which was not delivered (has to seek out staff at 10 pm with very tired little person in tow)
Restaurant food lovely roomwas cold as heating not working staff very quickly put heater in room,
Felt that shannon was amazing at breakfast but should not have been on her own for service as there was at least six on the night before. we wefe in four poster room felt it was very plain but servicable
Extreme helpfulness of all the staff. Agreeable rural setting. Flexible meal time.
Insufficient directions. Longish walk in the dark from main hotel to boarding annex.
The whole thing
Nothing to dislike
Food was excellent. Room clean
Single black sign on fast main road, directing visitors down long narrow alley. Not good at night time. Began to doubt that there was an inn so far down the track. Welcome lukewarm then directed to accomodation, across dimly lit car park. No light over lodge entry, so fumbling about with key in the rain to get in. Problems booking evening meal , although resident.
Set away from the road, feels like you're miles away. The river is a great place to relax and have a drink
