Helpful host, good location, good breakfast, very clean
Short walk to shops, restaurants, and things to see. Wonderful host and amazing range of food for breakfast.
Very welcoming Extremely friendly service Relaxed atmosphere Comfortable, warm and cosy Home from home Caters for needs of guests Very clean Central location WFi Convenient for shops
This place is easy to find, a short walk from the train or bus station, the host was very welcoming, and the room clean and comfortable. There was no problem getting a vegetarian breakfast. All in all, a good place to stay.
Very good service. Made room available earlier. Very good breakfast was served early since we had to get a train. Would recommand this B&B
Good location. Good breakfast
I stayed at the Quaich while visiting Inverness to sit an exam as part of my work. I booked the Quaich as it was excellent value for money on booking.com; considering it is very conveniently located near the city centre. I have stayed at a lot of different B&B's over the years and given the very reasonable price, my expectations were'n't that high but I have to say I was very pleasantly surprised. My experience at the Quaich was excellent. The house is exceptionally nice with really nice decor. The proprietor Arafeh was a genuinely nice chilled out guy who could not do enough to help. I really liked staying at the Quaich and will definitely stay there again when I go back to Inverness for a city break. I would highly recommend this B&B to anyone thinking of travelling to Inverness.
GOOD CENTRAL LOCATION
PARKING COULD SOMETIMES BE A PROBLEM
Very friendly welcoming place
The owner is very friendly and helpful
Very obliging host, and very warm welcome.I was made to feel like a friend, rather than just a guest.
Lack of en-suite facilities, but this was not a problem, due to my short length of stay and the small number of guests.
Really nice owner, had a great stay.
Lovely owner and great light breakfast with fresh fruits, tasty pancakes.
Very friendly owner who couldn't do enough for you (especially for breakfast).
The owners were super friendly. We only stayed one night so not much more to say. Room was decent and it was close to the center.
shower was slightly too small.
The owner was extremely nice and genuinely concerned about the comfort of your stay. The location was great, it was maybe a 5 minute walk from the city centre. This was exactly the kind of stay I wanted in a highland b&b experience. Breakfast was also very good! I would definitely recommend this place, it is a truly a gem.
Friendly and homely welcome
very friendly great breakfast best b&b i have ever stayed in great value for money highly recommend
nothing had a great stay
Breakfast choices. Friendly staff.
Very small en-suite bathroom. Cost.
Thank you for the early breakfast in the morning. Very nice!
Very friendly owners. Pancakes for breakfast. Perfect location. Reasonably priced.
Curtains let in light from the street lights. Could do with being thicker, or have blackout lining.
Our host was very friendly and informative.
Whist there was plenty of food it was rather stale, even the toast. It would be better to have less options and be freshly baked/bought.
Warm and friendly staff
Good budget BnB in the heart of Inverness. The location is excellent as it is a short scenic walk (less than 10 min) from the bus/train station. We are two friends who stayed here for 2 nights. Frankly I had booked this because it was the only option available in our budget. But I was pleasantly surprised to see the cleanliness and facilities of the BnB. Although the bathroom was shared but it was quite spacious and impeccably clean. This may be because there was no other occupancy apart from us (due to some last minute cancellations). The room was quite but do not expect any great views from your window as it is not a lake facing property. The TV, tea maker, hot water in the shower etc worked well. The beds were comfortable, and there was ample space in the twin room to keep our luggage. The breakfast was reasonably good. There were cereals, croissants, scones, muffins, fruits and yougurt. The pancakes, boiled eggs, toasts and milk were the only hot food provided but that was more than what was promised as part of the deal. We could not have the hot food on our last day as we had to leave early (before 7:30 am). The owner even allowed an early checkin which was really appreciable, especially since we arrived on a wet and chilly morning. All in all a good stay.
Nothing major, just that some of the items in the breakfast were not very fresh (especially the scones were a bit hard). And the heating could have been switched on for a bit longer.
Clean tidy lovely hosts and very welcoming. Very central position, only 2 minutes walk from the river and town centre.
Shared bathroom facilities but the bathroom provided was very clean and adequate with shower. This really should not put anyone off visiting.
