ONLY THING: 2 minute walk to Watford Junction Rail Station.
Appalling customer service with staff rude, not trained and uncaring. The building is being made into £650 a month flatlets with lots of refurbishment, mess and workmen around, yet it pretends to be functioning as a 'hotel' at the same time. The facilities are not as advertised - the gym is now a residents' laundry with the gym equipment stored in the now closed bar and there is no restaurant. Poor quality food served at breakfast. DON'T BELIEVE WHAT THE HOTEL DESCRIBES ITSELF AS ON ITS OWN WEBSITE.

1. Check in by a self confessed trainee took 25 minutes. 2. literally every area of the hotel was filthy, public areas had not seen a vacuum cleaner in weeks. 3. Public bar closed. 4. No hot water, boiler break down. 5. My business guests rooms were not cleaned from previous day ie opened tea/ coffee/ milk cartons, previous days newspaper and soiled towels. We arrived to occupy the rooms at midnight having checked in at 10 am and going to a function without seeing the rooms. 6. The foregoing caused me major professional embarrassment and I demand a refund!! 7. As the Park Inn this was a good urban hotel, under this new ownership and obviously a current building site, it is a sham logic mess and should be closed down immediately until it is totally refurbished. Booking . Com should immediately de list this property and should telephone me to apologise for my experience!!! 8. My first call on Monday morning is to Watford Council environmental health dept. 9. I am a very regular booking .com customer and shall postpone my usage until my sharing has been acknowledged, indeed it will prove to me if you actually read these comments/reviews??!!
The hotel was in a excellent location for Watford Junction Station, Harry Potter Studios and Town Centre.
Refurbishment was taking place. Rooms very shabby and not very clean. Lift very shaky and full of workmen transporting raw materials to top floor for building works. Was forced to use stairs to fifth floor. Suffering from slipped disc which proved very difficult. Base of bed was broken, mattress sunk in middle. No water came out of hot tap for the duration of our stay and no hot water in shower. Only given 1 pillow each. Room uncomfortably hot. Tea and Coffee Station very sparse. Limited staff.

No bar, renovation going on all over hotel, and then receiving parking ticket for registered car which is still ongoing Jury's is better option and cheaper
All me and my travel partner liked about this hotel was the fact that it was a few minute walk away from the train station and the shuttle bus for the Harry Potter studios. I also liked that it was only a two night stay as we moved onto a better hotel which satisified us more than this hotel did.
Whilst we stayed it was extreemly hot so the fact that the air conditioning was placed in the wrong place ment that the cool air didnt spread across the room making my travel parner and I feeling sick and faint and couldnt get to sleep until early hours of the morning. Also the fact that we both have asthma didn't help either. Another was the bathroom, it had mould growing on the ceiling above where the sink and mirror where, this was possibly due to the fact that there was no way of letting the steam out. The steam in the bathroom was awful everytime we had a shower we were too hot, and could not breath inside the bathroom. Also the fact that the cleaners did not change the dirty mugs each day was appauling, every hotel I've been in changed the mugs each day. The carpet was also dirty. The breakfast wasn't the best breakfast in the world, the eggs were not edible and the rest of the food where cold. The coffee and hot chocolate where not nice tasting either. Good job my travel partner and I arent vegiterians as there where not a cooked vegiterian breakfast option, which ment that the vegitierians where only able to eat toast, cousaunts, cerials or fruit. Another thing was was exreemely appauling was that the hotel never notified me through email that the name of the hotel has changed, luckily I checked my booking details a few days before. I wasn't also made aware or any refurbishments going on during our stay before we arrived through email, only to be told that the bar was only being refurbished at reception when we arrived. We also didnt get told that the entire hotel was being refurbished, we only found out by signs and seeing tools as we walked up to our room. As we left we left a letter of complaint from us at the reception saying how bad our stay was. It has been over a week since we have left and I have heard nothing from them after leaving my email for them to reply to our letter.

Check in was stated as 2pm, our room, along with several other guests was not ready until 4.30pm. The woman who identified herself as the manager took no responsibility and said thus happens all the time in all hotels. Her attitude was appalling.
Our tea facilities were set for 1 person. Our toilet bin was left without a liner. The TV was not switched on to the main. The Buffet breakfast had only one cereal on 2nd day. There was no white bread at brealfast. There were no prunes as an option.
Great stay would defo stay again
There was no milk even tho you had tea coffee and sugar facilities and no toothpaste as every other hotel we stopped in had those facilities
5 minute walk to Watford junction for easy access to Wembley. Plenty of bars nearby. Good secure car park. Plenty of tea/coffee/sugar/milk in the room.

It is close to the station. The bathroom was reasonable with all the little soaps and shampoos.
The carpets in the room were disgusting having stains everywhere. I understand the hotels goes through rebranding and refurbishments but it would be helpfull to give guests the new rooms if they want them to come back.
Location was only handy as I had meetings in Watford the following morning.
Booked at agreed rate and advised that may be late due to flights and connecting to area. Arrived before 12, had to wait 5 minutes for to get into the building to then be told rather abruptly that I had to pay £15 late check in charge or I would not be checked in, when I asked for VAT receipt this was an issue also with the staff member asking me how to do that. Checkin took 20 minutes. I was tired after working and travelling all day and just wanted to get to sleep so said I would collect the receipt in the morning. The lobby area was messy with dirty glasses and cups around the area. Noisy fans could be heard all night and in the morning at reception no greetings or acknowledgement. Asked for contact details for management and was not provided
The breakfast was cold, there was only a few people in the restaurant and we had to ask for several things to be refill coffee, juice water, there was only one person in attended and he look very bored with the whole affair. The couple we were travelling with had a plastic bag wrapped around there fire sprinkle in there room. Have stayed at the this hotel at least three times before would not do so again.
Clean bathroom but that's it!
Grubby public area. Lack of plugs. Kettle and 1 tea bag but no milk. Couldn't be provided with any either. Had to buy my own. Not ideal when travelled to hotal and need refreshment! Cleaning team left a Stanley knife blade on the floor in the entrance! Resturant advertised but wasn't open at all. The money for the room was way too much. And on top of that having to pay for parking too. Not a happy customer at all!!!!!
