We liked the quirkiness of the building, the comfort of the room, the friendliness of the staff, and the food was good too!
The hotel is clean. Nice decoration. Friendly team of staff.
Breakfast start at 9am didnot have time to eat.
The whole stay was a lovely experience from the friendly and helpful staff to the excellent food and very comfy bedrooms.
The only very tiny negative was that the shower was in the bath and there wasn't a shower screen or curtain
The staff were splendid and went out of their way to make our stay really perfect. Food is great - perfectly cooked - everything seemed to be home-made even the bread and the muesli! Very comfortable bed and pillows.
Staff helped to get an early breakfast for us. Very polite staff. Decor is fantastic. Very welcoming.
Breakfast was at 9am - 10am. Could really do with an 8am start. Sofabed in family room is uncomfortable.
All staff very pleasant and accommodating. Evening meal excellent, as was breakfast.
clean room, comfy bed, good food great staff.
Close to a busy road, complimentary tea and coffee is not the best.
friendly staff, excellent food, very cosy stay. will definately re visit again.
Room was quirky, which was a lovely change to the normal box type room. Ate in the restaurant, great food and great wine selection. Very friendly and welcoming. Just a shame it was only for one night....but we will be back!!!!
The hotel is well located for visiting places such as Rye, Great Dixter & Batemans. The hotel has recently been refurbished, so all the fixtures & fittings are in very good condition. We had two evening meals in the hotel & both were excellent, breakfast was also good. The hotel has a large car park, so parking is no problem. The staff were all very friendly & helpful.
Our bathroom was rather small & with no shower, only a bath, and had a small towel rail. The space for storing clothes in the bedroom was OK for two nights but would be rather limited for a longer stay.
Service Breakfast Very comfy bed Location Quaint
My teenage son complained cos u couldn't put the shower head up anywhere to have a proper shower
Everything was great..... lovely lovely staff and place to stay and eat
food decoration in room
bed too hard room was above noisy kitchen
The staff were helpful and pleasant. The room was clean and fresh and the homemade brownies were delicious. We ate in the restaurant and the choice of food was adequate and reasonably priced for this quality of establishment. There were plenty of free car parking spaces with a fence to keep children away from cars when eating and drinking outside.
The outside view from room number one was disappointing I.E. it looked like a parking area for staff and there was an overfull skip and other rubbish laying around. I am not a lover of tables without mats or tablecloths as this makes it look like to local transport café. The continental breakfast choice lacked jams and fruit but the cooked breakfast looked appetising and freshly cooked.
Staff very helpful and friendly. Location. Food (very good and good value) Coffee and tea making facilities. Bedding and towels really good. quality. Very good local ales. A great advertisment for England.
In room 7 the noise from a generator (or such like) was a bit intrusive. Also we had a view of a skip but think that this will be rectified when the improvements are completed.
Everything ! We can't praise this place enough, the food, décor, room, cutlery, crockery, glasses etc: were all top quality, all the staff were friendly, helpful and happy. Attention to detail was superb even down to the toilet roll holders in the loos !!
Having only one night there.
Restaurant Decor Breakfast Service
The staff are very friendly and keen. Our room was tremendous, so much so that my wife asked if I had booked it especially for the occasion. Modern, but classic at the same time. We ate in the restaurant and the food was excellent. We're very glad we booked The Queen's Inn!
big, clean and modern bedroom breakfast of good quality
telephone not working Mirror in the bathroom badly placed
Very friendly staff, excellent food, nice decorated and comfortable room with bathroom
Only bathtub with handheld shower,no possibility to shower properly
Nicely appointed room Modern bathroom Immaculately clean Fantastic staff who could not do enough to help make my stay very enjoyable
We had a lovely time !! Nothing bad to say about this Hotel !
Friendly and efficient staff Clean and well designed rooms Good menu, good quality ingredients and very tasty food Spacious and comfortable bar area
Our group was on a history tour, so we enjoyed the fact that the Inn dated from the 17th century, yet had all the comforts of the 21st century. The food was excellent as well.
Friendly team, beautiful room, attention to detail and excellent food.
Breakfast didn't start till 9am,however team made sure I had my tea and toast before leaving at 8.45am!
