Built in 1856, Rosehill House is half a mile south of Burnley town centre. It has retained much of its original architecture, including Italian marble fireplaces and gold leaf ceilings.

Doors very noisy when closing, disturbing in the early hours of the morning, although I could not blame the other guests as all doors banged when closing.
Cosy, comfortable, good food, great service . Central. Train station right outside if u want a trip into Manchester . Very quiet at night for a good sleep.
No hair dryer but for me wasn't really a problem, am sure they would have had one if I'd asked
Received a warm welcome from staff, room was spacious comfortable and clean. Breakfast excellent ( amazing sausage). Had a great stay. Planning to stay again as part of a walking weekend. Lovely town to boot
Everything planning to return soon
comfy bed pleasant staff bath yummy food good location
ordered full breakfast, but didn't get everything so had to ask
We loved everything about our stay at the queen. Very comfortable clean friendly. Its a home from home.
The enormous bed! Quiet but central location; friendly staff.
The breakfast table could have been a little more varied; the external pipe from the kitchen was quite noisy; the church bell ringing every hour (not that that is the fault of the hotel!)
Friendly helpful staff. Freshly cooked full english breakfast. Selection of many beers/lagers inc 3 real ales! Comfortable well equipped bedroom (a small double - single occupancy) Less than 25m from the platforms on Todmorden Railway Station - frequent trains.Bus station also within easy walking distance (I was travelling without my car on this occasion) Beautifully hilly surroundings with the associated views.
Wifi was quite strong in public areas, but a bit 'flaky' in the bedroom.
Great Staff, breakfast amazing cooked to order with great local products. Must mention Matt who sorted us with a take away breakfast :-)
TV kept going off need to udgrade, pillows flat could do with feather pillows.
Room and breakfast were excellent. Location opposite the station was very useful.
Clean and pleasant facilities Friendly and helpful staff Great location opposite railway station Facility to leave bags at hotel prior to check in and after check out
Humid room which made it difficult to sleep - I suggested they get fans for guests to use in summer months A little expensive - £70 for twin room
The room was much nicer than I expected. A nice modern lay out and very comfortable. We had our dinner in the attached pub, which was good food and great value. we even stayed on for the pub quiz - the place had a very friendly atmosphere.
There was a little bit of water damage in the corner of the room, where the roof has leaked previously. It would be better if this was repaired.
Room was comfortable, food was good and very reasonably priced, staff were friendly
Parking is very limited. choice of music played in the bar and restaurant was totally unsuitable for the clientele which were mainly mature couples
Location, Bedrooms very clean.
No hair dryer in room, Lack of variety at breakfast.
It was a lovely place with super friendly and helpful staff. An excellent location right next to the station and handy for town. It was really comfortable and peaceful. I stayed an extra night because I liked it so much. I found it very relaxing.
Breakfast was good.
Car parking wasn't available at the hotel when we arrived, although the station car park is only a short walk away, this could present a problem with any mobility issues. I feel the hotel facilities, as listed, are misleading.
Real surprise, good service, great food! Really good stay in a well located hotel
The food was good & both food and drinks were reasonably priced. Staff were polite & friendly.
Would have been nice to have a later check out but it is clearly stated as a 10.30 check out time.
It's a warm comfortable hotel, with good rooms and very conveniently situated with good access to the town; the railway station and to neighbouring towns. Easy to get in and out out-of-hours (for early morning photography).
Nothing of note
We had a splendid room (a suite, indeed), with all the amenities one might desire. The breakfast was great: best bacon I've eaten for years.
Location. Beds were OK. Suzanne (?), waitress and chambermaid, was lovely.
Getting trapped in our room, although they did replace the locks the next day. The breakfast (tinned tomatoes!). No radio in the room (and as tv didn't work, couldn't go through that). Poor shower. No residents bar after 10.50pm. Other people were very unhappy as well.
A really nice place to stay.
No car park.
Location, sleep quality, and breakfast
Bathroom was tired and in need of redecoration. Someone had nicked the tV remote control!
Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were well decorated and pleasant. Food was excellent.
Just a small gripe - the water from the shower was just warm rather than hot
