Incredibly friendly staff.Lovely rooms.Fantastic food ( and we are fussy!)we also arrived as a group of Morris men made their annual appearance which was quite surreal looking out of the window to see them dancing while we sipped wine and ate our lovely meal at 9 in the evening! will definitely visit again, it's a great stopover for travelling to the South west.

Beautiful and peaceful location with very friendly staff and lovely food & drink. The room was very tastefully decorated with windows on both sides, so nice and light and lovely views across the countryside. They don't advertise it on their website but the rooms have dvd players and and an Ipod docking station. Nice bathroom too and the rooms were always warm as they have underfloor heating and radiators. I would definitely go back there. Depending on your view as to whether you want to be contacted or not - couldn't get higher than one bar on my mobile phone.

Peaceful location. Quality of food - particularly the pasta with veg which was poor. Breakfast mushroom minute and old. Service at breakfast slow.
