Room staff and facilities
Breakfast eaten by previous guests we were down for breakfast but had to wait for it to be cooked it was good when it arrived
Spacious room, helpful staff, decent location close to Town Centre.
the shower in the bath was not very good, the bathroom was to small, the bath towels were to small
Located near the beach and town, buffet breakfast really good, clean rooms and a nice spa. Friendly staff and close to all restaurants.
A bit dated in some areas.
Good location. Wifi that worked. If you're an OAP, this is a lively hotel and suitable for coach parties. If you're a business travelled and need a good night's sleep, avoid!
Heating inadequate, room was very cold with drafty windows despite radiator being on maximum. Very loud, entertainment at weekend blared until early hours and could not sleep. Cooked English breakfast was only lukewarm. Turned up about half an hour after serving started so should have been hot. Car blocked in, half an hour before I could drive out!
very clean hotel food was nice.
Staff were attentive and courteous. Food was excellent.
Dated and poorly maintained room (power socket loose, cold tap constant drip, chipped paintwork). Exessive number of untidy loose cables (TV and power extensions installed without proper consideration for being secured for both safety and appearance. Very odd and inefficient fixed desk lamp. Bed was soft and lumpy. Car park for residents was inadequate - arrived just prior to check in and car park full, expected to park and pay on public road. Not the hotel's fault but potential residents should be aware of the likely noise from late night and early morning drunken people moving noisily on the road adjacent to front of hotel - little sleep. Prices in the hotel bar - £8.20 for a pint of bitter and a single gin and tonic!
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The Spa was a bonus for the price paid for the weekend.
Bar prices are well above other hotels I have used in Bournemouth
Room we were allocated was of a reasonable size and very clean. It was very warm and we had our window open which meant there was a fair amount of noise from people entering and leaving the hotel.
The shower was not very good. At times the hot water was too hot and when trying to adjust the temperature with the cold water the water just run cold!
Location Parking Value for money
Found the staff to be very helpful and polite.
Good all round would stay there again.
Location of the hotel Quality and quantity of breakfast The size and cleanliness of leisure facilities
The water in the swimming pool was too cold The steam room was out of use Soundproofing of rooms is inadequate, could clearly hear what neigbours upstairs were doing One of the towels in the bedroom was stained The duvet was stained
Change of rooms without additional costs; room on 4th floor was okay
First room located on 3rd floor. Absolutey run down, Bathtub dirty, brown tap water! Not Even an apology from staff!
All of the staff were friendly and helpful. The location is great for the town centre which is just a five minute walk.
My room was value for money I liked the whole set up of the room cleanliness was noticeably
What I did not like was the heating was bad there was no heating until I got a heater. There was no fridge which I think there should be in the room.
Bedroom n bathroom need redecorating, needs sound proofing
Free car park Free Wifi Welcoming reception staff
Wasn't told that a party was booked for the Friday night and as my room seemed to be above the party the music was so loud I could not get to sleep until music stopped at midnight. Had to wait for replenishment of many hot items and fruit juices at Saturday breakfast
Location good, comfortable bed!
Creeky floorboards, thin walls could hear people walking around above us and kids and people talking loud
The location, close enough to walk to shops etc, far enough away to enjoy peace and quiet. The room was very spacious.
Unable to have the windows open as safety catch broken. Bathroom needed updating panel only resting against the bath.
The spa facilities, the bar area for afternoon tea
The swimming pool was cold
Freezing cold pool and Jacuzzi. Water in room takes 3-4 minutes to warm up.
The room was very nice the decor great and the bed was comfy
The breakfast was only warm and not hot
Good sized comfortable room and excellent breakfast if you choose carefully.
The room was dated and needed a complete refurb but still good value.
Too many events happening at the same time leaving no place to relax , with all the noise of other users. You have a public bar but it was monopolised by a wedding leaving no quiet area
