The reception was polite and the restaurant service was also polite. The breakfast was good. Hotel was very near beach and the centre was walking distance The room was very hot indeed, windows could not be open and there was no air conditioning or fan to assist in the heat. The room was expensive but dingy it needs renovating. I could not believe that it was so expensive but it is located well |

Nothing! The swimming pool was adequate but otherwise we had more things to complain about than there is space here to write about! We were in Bournemouth for one night, specifically to attend a concert. We had no desire to spoil our evening by complaining at that stage. However, when we checked out we expressed our dismay at things. The staff were entirely uninterested in our complaints and even disputed one of them, claiming that an ancient and corroded window had been replaced only two weeks previously (the problem being that it was extremely difficult to open and then impossible to close. Apart from that, the sheets were dirty, the main light did not work, the shower and toilet flush were both inadequate, the TV did not work properly and there was no radio although one had been included in the room spec. The staff were perfectly friendly until we raised the complaints, at which point they merely denied that there were any problems. We simply did not have the time to follow up our complaints by demanding to see the manager as we were on a tight schedule. We have only just returned to our home and I will be writing to the management at great length this weekend. Oh, and there was no option of help with our bags, let alone anybody to show us to our room - which was situated at the very top of the hotel and acoustically vulnerable to every last crunch, thump and groan of the lift, which was still in use at three thirty in the morning. |

The food at breakfast was good. The beds were old and lumpy with old dirty headboards. There wasnt air conditioning and it was too hot. We could not open the window because it was too noisey from a party underneath. The balcony needed painting and the bathroon smelt musty. |

hotel staff at the reception was very helpful The restaurant finished serving food at 8.30pm, not good when you have been travelling after work and there is no food waiting for you. We had to go to the Britannia Hotel over the road to get something to eat. There was no minibar in the room and the heating in the bathroom was always on so the room was very hot even with the window opened. I rang a taxi using a phone in the hallway and the receiver was dirty - I could not put it against my hear. The phone in our room could be cleaned too. |

Parking was easy and readily available. The Breakfast was very good and the service was attentive. The heating in the bathroom was overpowering and there was a slight aroma of fuel oil. |

The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is nicely situated close to the beach and town, but in a quiet area in terms of passing traffic. My stay was too short... not their fault. There seemed to be too few staff in the evening causing delay at reception. Those that were there worked hard to cover bar and reception. |

Large and roomy. easy access to shops and locations .plenty of car parking spaces. Menu choice was mainly Fish apart from a salad or gammon , I hate Fish! I asked fro breakfast to be delivered to my room in the morning and reception looked at me with confussion asking to ask night porter? It clearly stated in Hotel information this is easy and to ask reception. So i went without breakfast. Bed was lumpy and outside very noisy. with the window open. |

The cost and distance from the Bournemouth Internation Center were the two keys to selecting this location. Turns out it was only about a 15 minute walk and was very easy to get to. When arriving I saw how close it was to the beach which turned out to be an added bonus. Nothing comes to mind. |

The Hotel has a pleasant atmosphere, the reception and rooms are very good, the lounge and garden area are very pleasant, the bar manager knows his job and nothing is two much trouble. I have to say that the restaurant let itself down due to the wait to be allocated a table and the wait to be served.(Also we had to wait from finishing are 1st course to the next 50 minutes which is not acceptable. The Staff worked hard , but needed more staff. The restaurent also closed at 8.30 which is a bit early. |

Great location and large room with good bathroom (ensuite). Reception very quick service for checking in and out. Loud noise from other guests, but it was a Saturday night and it was sunny, it's Britain and it's Bournemouth. |

The location is ideal for easy access to the East Cliff and Beach and a short walk into the town centre. The double room was comfortable but in need of some modernisation, decor and shower in particular. The single room was vfm. |

The staff were nice and friendly, it was pleasant enough if you are 80! It was impossible to find a parking space, but the receptionist gave me a ticket to park in the nearby college which was fine. The hotel is dated and in desperate need a a facelift, it feels like a relic from the 80's and fine if you are not concerned about trendy or modern. There were holes in the curtains, and the water was cold so could not have a bath or shower. |
