I liked the friendliness of the staff on the reception desk. I liked the grand feel of the dining room. The bathroom was modern, but even though I put the bath mat in the tub when it was dry, it did not stick, so when I stood it I slipped, and found it very difficult to stand up the scary bath incident that I mentioned above. The room needed to be upgraded, I take it that the one on the website and brochures has been upgraded. |

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The meal in the restaraunt was excellent. I enjoyed a swin in the pool, which was a lovely temperature. I was slightly dissapointed that the steam room was out of order. Some of the wood furnishings and paintwork could do with updating. |

The staff were very helpful especially lelia in reception.Nothing was to much trouble.Food was Excellent and so was the service. The Room was tidy but needed a good clean as there was a line of dust dangling over the bed and needed a vacuum hose in the corner ceilings of the room.Aslo a spot light in the bathroom was not working. |

Proximity to beach - courteous staff Double room very dark - next to fire escape. Rooms to be vacated by 1030 am - a tad too early I thought. |

It was a very nice hotel for the weekend stay that we wanted. There were two functions on at the time we were there and they added to the feel of the hotel. It was a good base for a stay in the area. |

We chose the Queens because we have stayed there several times before, and we would arrive in the dark. I was therefore confident that a) we would get there safely b) that the hotel would be comfortable. Also I had checked with other hotels nearby and found the Queens to be much the best value for money. |

Staff at reception were very welcoming and always helpful. We enjoyed a massage at forever young the staff there were very good and very friendly. Pool was also very nice. Had a meal in the restaurant, the food was very good but the service was not of same standard as food. The whole hotel needs a lick of paint and although rooms were clean the bathrooms needed a deep clean and updating |

Reception was very helpful. The room was excellent and very clean. Without the Spa we would not have chosen Queens. The steam room was a disappointment. |

Room decoration still in 1970's. Good for old days memory. The room and bathroom is really clean. The room and bathroom are really tired. Pretty dark feeling at night. Not enough water pressure for shower. Sound isolation was poor. You can hear upstairs open and close drawers and walking around. |

The location is fantastic - only a 5-minute walk to the beach lift and one of the zigzags (pathways- and there are only 3 zigzags, so this hotel is very convenient). The facilities are ok, and the bar does serve sandwiches throughout the day, and the spa seemed well-attended. The pool temperature was very cold (all guests seemed displeased). We were told at reception that it was 28 degrees, but I would say no more than 22 degrees, which is nice, but not really "heated" nice, especially as the pool is indorrs. |
