The Queens Court was very comfortable and an excellent alternative to a nondescript hotel room in a chain hotel. Really felt like you were in a comfortable townhouse and the staff couldn't do enough to make the stay enjoyable.
The staff were very friendly nice old building
The pillows could of been better
Size of bed and weight of duvet
Easy walking distance into Exeter but very quiet location.Lovely public rooms.
We only stayed overnight but parking and cost could be an issue for a longer stay.
Loved everything about his hotel - great location, great food, clean and comfy room, excellent friendly helpful staff!
Very friendly and helpful staff. Great location. Comfortable room. Very nice restaurant with interesting menu.
Located near railway station, car park, university and city centre. Hairdryer. Soap smelled nice. Good tea and coffee selection, but would have liked more. TV was good for reception, although small screen. The lounge area was attractive and we liked the headboards and bed lights, along with the bedding.
Room was far too hot, so we had to keep the windows open: we had the fan on quite a lot, and were glad we had it, but it was not effective enough. We asked for an alarm call at 6.30am, but didn't receive one. We would have liked an overhead shower. We needed breakfast earlier than 7.30am, as we had to leave the hotel by 8am (for a graduation), so where we paid £8 for breakfast, we had insufficient time for a cooked breakfast and only had cereal & toast. Also the decor in the restaurant was confused & mismatched. In the top floor bedroom, we were uncomfortable with the slanted ceiling, as it was a safety hazard.
Most things; but, in particular, the staff, our bed and the food.
Not much; some air handling/conditioning would be a real improvement (we stayed in July)
The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. Location was convenient.
The surfaces in the bedroom were very dusty with sugar and biscuit crumbs. There was no hairdryer, although the staff quickly provided one. The furniture is looking rather tired and past its best.
The food in the adjoining restaurant was outstanding.
The ironing board.
Very pleasant staff. Excellent rooms and restaurant excellent. In fact we visited again a week later.
Nothing to report.
Price a little steep
friendly staff location to university and town centre
tired hall stair carpet small lift
Very helpful staff. Situation - in the centre of Exeter and near a railway station. Food was excellent.
On arrival we found that the bath had not been properly cleaned. However our complaint was dealt with swiftly and for the rest of our stay we had no problems.
Comfortable, good information by receptionist
Nice relaxed atmosphere, staff great, food great, nice clean room, a really enjoyable stay.
My only issue is with Booking.com which says you only pay on stay, which is not the Hotel policy. Miss-led by Booking.com.
Staff very accommodating. Keen to help and make your stay a good one.
Stayed at this hotel about 10 yrs ago. It looks quiet tired and would benefit from a revamp. Especially the lounge.
Brilliant location, can't fault the hotel or the staff :)
Cute little square Small sized hotel has charm Cozy
Needs a bit of renovation Should provide more towels
Good breakfast, ok room but floor inclined so head of bed lower than foot. Old furnishings, small tv, but peaceful surroundings. Decent place.
Non squeaky beds Chipper receptionist Free late check out
Squeaky floorboards The lift Dip in bathroom floor
Friendly, efficient staff.
The receptionist was excellent, very friendly and welcoming and happy to help when I needed something
The room could do with being re-decorated as there were little things like chipped paint etc but the overall cleanliness was fine
Very helpful, friendly staff. Great location. Only stayed one night so didn't have a chance to see and use all the facilities. Will definitely book again when in Exeter.
