Peace and Quiet

The location close to the city was a great advantage. The staff were particularly friendly and helpful. The Olive Tree restaurant served excellent food - different and delicious.

The stairs to the top rooms were a bit steep but this is expected in an older hotel.

Homely atmosphere. Very good breakfast.

Had very cramped room in attic. Floor and bed were on a slope.Sloping attic ceiling made it difficult to get in and out of bed on one side. Had to wait a while at table before breakfast arrived.

Resteraunt was excellent

Friendly staff, lovely comfortable bed, very nice food.

The hotel exceeded my expectations. Situated on a lovely square within walking distance of the city and Uni. I will stay again. Staff, service and restaurant all excellent.

The pillows were too hard. No option of a softer pillow available.

This hotel is a great find! The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacous, with a good sized bathroom which is well lit. The food in the Olive Treet restaurant is superb.

Finding a parking space nearby is difficult.

In a great location a short walk into Exeter centre.Rooms are small but comfortable.We ate in The Olive Tree Restaurant and enjoyed one of the best meals we have ever had.Thankyou.

Warm friendly comfortable and excellent location

Location is good; spaciousness of room (for the price); parking, although it's p and d and good shower.

Room was a bit stuffy, and smelled strongly of cleaner at first.

Brilliant central location and very quiet for a city centre hotel thanks to be being in a small square with a car park in front of the building. Lovely high ceilings and central heating that was easy to control!

Just one thing - the pillows!!! The hardest, most uncomfortable ones I think I've ever experienced.

Attractive, small to medium-sized hotel with comfortable twin bedroom. Friendly welcome + efficient service at reception. We did not use the restaurant but it looked appealing with its menu options, perhaps a little over-priced a la carte. Bedroom was a good size; the beds were comfortable; and the location was quiet (apart from dustmen early in the morning). Breakfast was very good with a good selection on the menu.

Lack of a shower in our bedroom - it was a bath with a hand shower and I could not work out the hot/cold controls.

Ottima posizione, parcheggio incluso nel prezzo nel tranquillo piazzale di fronte all hotel, niente traffico, buona colazione.

Wi-Fi a pagamento ma 1/2 ora la sera e 1/2 la mattina era free!
