Good breakfast. Helpful staff. We stayed on a Friday night & there was lots of noise from the streets outside and this went on all night long. Also room smelt stale & musty. |

The position it was lovely being right on the river and in the centre of town. It was extremely hot when we visited and we hadn't realised the hotel was opposite a pub although people we not rowdy noise does carry and so we had to have the windows closed and conseqently hardly slept anyway because we were so hot. Air conditioning would have made our stay perfect. |

The view from our room looking out on to the River Ouse was beautiful especially because the weather was glorious! Also the location in the city centre was perfect just what we wanted. The reserved parking was also secure :-) We definetly return to The Queens Hotel. |

Location extremely good for city access whilst still offering a relatively quiet environment for relaxing after a busy day's sightseeing and shopping.Secure car park is also a major benefit. Drinks expensive compared to the Lowery!!!!! |

The food was very good and the breakfast was especially notable. Service was good and the staff were friendly and approachable. The lack of a teapot for breakfast tea was a big miss. Tea prepared with tea bags and water from a heater are never quite the same. |

The staff were pleasant and the breakfast, although basic, was of a good standard. The rooms would have benefitted from air conditioning. |

close proximity to all attractions Our room was adjacent to the landing and stairs. The noise from the cold drinks vending machines could be heard through the walls during the night. We suggest the hotel relocates these machines. |

The location, next to the river and close to the city centre. Breakfast was adequate. We would certainly reccommend this hotel to our friends. My only criticism would be lack of confirmation on the reserved parking. Rest of our stay was enjoyable and as good if not better than expected. |

Excellent location on river and close to all major York attractions. Staff very friendly and helpful, room quite spacious with river view. Good to have free WIFI connection (some hotels charge for this service). Parking overnight at hotel costs £10 which is pretty steep. We only stayed for one night and that was expensive enough but hate to think of staying a week's cost for parking! |
