The reception staff and especially the concierge (with regard to parking)were very helpful during a very busy Saturday afternoon check-in period. They were calm and efficient and very welcoming The bar staff were very young and appeared to be relatively inexperienced although they were still serving in a courteous and timely fashion. 2 gin & tonics however tasted completely different served by different staff members. |

The location is fantastic - straight off the train and into the hotel but with none of the noise.Decor in the hotel is lovely with an art deco feel about it. The room size in comparison to the Novotel down the road is very small and the bathroom only just fits everything in. On comparison the Novotel is cheaper and bigger but not of as a good standard. |

good room,was allowed to check in early due to our room being available and helpful reception and concierge.we arrived by train and you just walk off the station and there it is. we didnt eat in the hotel but the choice of eating places and nightlife nearby is excellent and plenty of shopping nearby to keep the ladies occupied during the day. |

The bed was very comfortable, the breakfast was of a good standard and certainly extensive, and the location couldn't be faulted. The room was very very tired in decor, and the hotel in general looked like it hadn't decorated since the last world war. The staff at the front desk whilst enthusiastic struggled with their English, and the room's bathroom was very tired. There was a lack of ironing facilities in the room, and ultimately there was very little to justify the price other than the convenience. Especially given internet access and car parking are far more expensive than is really warranted. |
