Nice armchair which gave the room a bit of charm and character. Lots of mirrors including one of about 6 foot opposite the bed. Curtains were 12 inches too long. Would have prefered a soft seat/stool at the table, and the toilet seat was broke (although someone did come up and fix it within an hour and a half - while I was out). |

It was clean and the staff were fantastic. It also felt very safe and there was no noise from other visitors. The staff really couldn't do enough to help and were extremely courteous. It was a little basic. The shower, although nice and hot, was a bit small and weak. |

I was impressed with the price of the hotel due to it's good location by the coast. Parking couldn't have been closer. All of the places we wanted to visit were within walking distance. |

Walking distance of the town centre, resturants and Brighton Centre but quiet location. No free parking in the Square but plenty in underground park below the square but £12.50 per day. |

The location is very convenient. Overall, our stay was good value for money. The wi-fi connection is very poor (dropping in and out every 2 mins). Our room was subject to a lot of noise (room 18, ground floor closest to the street) and additionally, the walls of the hotel are 'paper-thin' so we were able to hear the conversation and screams of a very loud group of girls trying to hit on the guy on duty. The breakfast is good, however we did notice a box of cereal past its use by date and out it to one side for the staff to dispose of. The following day, we noticed that the box of cereal had simply been put back in with the others. |

The breakfast was good, and value for money. The tv had digital tv which was also nice. Watch out for room 1a the room is grotty, with mold on the walls and a dirty bedside runner. The carpet is stained and burnt, the room also smelled of cigerattes. The shared toilets were also not cleaned and the bath that was not clean with mold around the plug hole. |

Its position in the centre town of Brighton. The checking-in time is too late in the afternoon. When you arrive from abroad it's pleasant to find a calm and tidy place to rest. |

Well situated by the sea in Brighton, this typical English hotel is a good place to stay. No lift. The furniture was new but mounted without care. |

Our initial opinion of the hotel was very good. However that soon changed! we had booked what was supposed to be a superior room, and from the inside this is what it appeared to be! we had the window slightly open as it was a warm night and was horrified to find the next morning that approximately 1m away was another window which turned out to be a toilet! and even more horrifying was the fact that there was someone in the toilet who appeared to be pleasuring himself and also went to the loo which did not smell very nice! This was very embarrassing for myself and my girlfriend and made us feel very uncomfortable, so I don't believe we will be booking with this hotel again. Which is a shame because it made a good first impression. |

The hotel was clean, comfortable and had all we needed for a short break although I would not have wanted to stay longer. I did not really enjoy the breakfast as the dining room was too small for all of the guests and there was not much variety although for the price it was OK. |
