You can tell how good a hotel is by its breakfast. This place had nice bacon, warm toast, runny eggs and all the tea or coffee you can drink. Add in fruit and cereal, on you're onto a winner! Not much, very pleasant stay

Very helpful staff, good location with free parking, very good value for money individual small milk jugs at breakfast would be good. The drum and bass starting at 5am and going on until 7 was a bit of a downer

friendly staff, good breakfast, pretty good location - near Stratford underground, nice pub, owner provided a cooling fan which helped the second night. If you like very warm rooms, this hotel might work for you. room was too hot even when sleeping under a sheet only, smoke from outside came up through window, traffic too loud to keep window open, mattress not very comfortable, dirty carpets, plumbing made alarming sounds when taps turned on, hot water tap spun around. Main problem was the excessive warmth.

From the moment we arrived for our one night stay, to the following evening when we returned to collect our parked car, we were treated so well! All the staff were so friendly and the breakfast was superb. The room was not huge but more than adequate and very comfortable. Will certainly stay there again next time we are in London. Rod and Chris Essex We foolishly decided to stay for just one night!

I will recommend this hotel to everyone. The rooms were very clean and nicely updated. We loved having the tavern downstairs, nice selection of beer on tap. The breakfast was delicious and included everything we needed or wanted. Good and affordable dinner options. The owners, Tom and Jan, are unbelieivably friendly and accomodating. We will definitely stay here when we come back to London!

friendly easy going staff, nothing too much trouble for them, perfect location being next to stratford int. and victoria park for field day. lovely breakfast, comfy beds, clean, warm, secure. no hairdryer in room, although if i'd asked they may have supplied one, soap dispenser didnt work and couldnt tell difference between shampoo and shower gel. other than that 10 out of 10.

Very friendly staff (thanks Pat!). On top of original, nice british pub. Our room in the top floor was ok in terms of noise - may not be the case on 1st floor as the pub below may have live music on week-ends. Free WiFi (didn't work very well on our floor but this should change soon according to the owner). Walking distance to Westfield shopping centre (very good food available there from Lebanese to Jamie's!), not far from the o2, good connection via Central line to the city. I'd recommend this Hotel! :-) Plasterboard walls, a towel hook and one towel rail in our bathroom fell out during our visit (bit typical for uk - I've lived in a similar house for 4 years in Oxford...). One can hear the busy street (old windows) but it's ok on 2nd floor. More industrial surrounding.

The most warm and professional hotel staffs for me by light years. Very proactive and helpful in all imaginable ways possible. Breakfast was served with first class service. Nothing to be honest. The hotel and facilities were clean, very good bathroom excellent service. Absolutely nothing to dislike for the price.

Stratford shopping centre and Westfield shopping centre close by, as is railway, underground(multiple lines) and bus station. Decent crowd in the pub downstairs, good safe parking, friendly hosts, plentiful full English breakfast. Early start if you need it. Zone 3 but easy access back to motorway.

I liked the staff, very friendly and able to help under any circumstance. The breakfast menu with fresh dishes cooked at the moment. The position close to Stratford Commercial Centre and underground (4 mins walk). The wardrobe is little small. In the bathroom the sink has still two separated tap, for hot and cold water (not mixed). In a 4 stars hotel it should be mixed. Wi-fi connection on rooms from 6 to 10 (at the 2nd floor) is not strong enough. The signal often get lost.
