    Fine for the Cambridge Folk Festival when the flexibility is great. Breakfast as serve yourself when you want is good when you want to be late!

    The location is just a few minutes walking from a location with restaurants, shops and theatre. Despite sleeping above a pub it was quite during the night. Room and bathroom were clean.

    One bed structure a bit "oldish" and needed fixing before sleeping in it. Don't expect any typical English breakfast. It's a do-it-yourself-in-the-kitchen with just cereals, bread to toast, and help-yourself in the fridge for some milk, orange juice, butter and jam.

    1. Friendly staff 2. Free car parking 3. Fair price

    1. rooms above pub - very noisy at night until late - this was not mentioned on the website 2. Cupboards would not open, chst of drawers of poor quality, no soap provided in bathroom, self-serving kitchen 3. Guests drinking and smoking in the terrace outside our room - definitely not a place to bring family and kids

    No fuss environment Free parking (but not secure) More a hostel than a guest house!

    Free access but with poor security. Very thin walls. Very creaky floorboards! Neighbours came in at 02.30 and made a lot of noise. DO NOT go here with young children.

    Helpful friendly staff, location is not too far from the main attraction (20 mins by bus).

    Room is not so clean, found some remnant of food from previous guests.

    Location near rail station, shopping and not very far from city centre; Anytime using of the common kitchen; Friendly people downstairs;

    Since the rooms are located over the PUB, noisy people, music and beer smell came up to the first floor; The room we became only had a small and week lamp on the bedside table with unsufficient light for reading; Between Friday evening and Sunday morning the common WC was not cleaned after being used by many guests; The mattress springs give the sensation one is converting to a faquir;

    A bit more choice with the breakfast would have been nice. For the rest, it was fine. Don't forget to bring earplugs in case there's a party in the pub downstairs

    You get what you can expect. The price is fair, particularly considering the prices for sleeping in Cambrige. It is well located - walking distance to the city centre. We were in the triple room with our own bath. Besides that, we saw plenty of share bathrooms which were not bad. There is a terrace where smoking is allowed.

    Nothing. It is exactly what we expected based on the pictures and the price.

    Excellent location for access to the city centre Excellent value for money given the length of time we actually used the hotel for (a base and a few hours sleep!) Friendly staff Handy having a pub downstairs

    Beds were OK, not luxury by any means but good enough for our requirements Not much to dislike given cost and location

    The staff were very friendly and obliging and there were many extras that were not advertised. The kitchen was well-stocked unavailable and although there was no breakfast provided, we were encouraged to make breakfast.

    A bit chaotic – they had not received the bookings.com reservation and took our printout as confirmation! The rooms were clean but could have been aired more - there was a musty smell from the carpet (room number 7).

    room clean and friendly staff.

    I thought the breakfast arrangements were poor and didnt expect to be informed to help myself to whats in the fridge- ie make your own! Shared kitchen with students- so this establishment doesnt provide breakfast and cooking utensils were enough to put you off . I feel the information was a little misleading when booking this as a B&B.

    This is a very clean but basic place to stay, however, it’s added bonus is that warmth and welcome that you only get with smiling Irish eyes. Join in with the very generous help yourself breakfast kitchen with the other guests and you will have the time of your life, and must pop down stairs for a drink with the friendly locals and staff.
