Bed, wifi and TV all excellent.
Lack of meusli at breakfast and a toaster that was puzzling to operate and burned my toast.
Noise at night outside shared bathroom small rooms
Good value for money Excellent location for a wedding on Occupation Street
Small room Locks on doors are a bit confusing
A good pint
Shouting and banging in the night
The bar staff were good,as was the beer, and the food in the bar was good value.
No food after 5pm on Sunday, I missed the carvery. The continental breakfast was poor. And the room was smelly, possibly from someone smoking
Vomit all over the toilet
Clean rooms, good beds, easy use of bathrooms etc.
Very small choice of continental breakfast.
Starter of garlic mushrooms - four tiny mushrooms for £3.95 - really? Lack of toilet paper in toilets.
Bed was nice food was good the location was ideal for because i was only working ten minutes walk.
The quiz night was a bit loud and my room was above the front doors to the pub so i could hear everything.
The fact that it had a bar!! The staff were ok but i only had contact with a couple.
Very noisy wedding reception in building next to it, too many people chatting in car park. Beds were not comfortable or pillows, but it was better than sleeping in a park i suppose!! Showers were awful, a sink tap is more powerful, i also did not like shared toilets/shower, in fairness i did not see this when i booked the room otherwise i would not have booked it. Other peoples pubes and toilet habits are not good to see first thing in the morning, definately would not stay again, my car would be more comfy!!
No on suite
food is very good rooms are clean but could do with decorating.
rooms at front of hotel overlook the carpark causing quite a bit of noise with cars, taxis and late night drinkers.shuting the window does not stop the noise ,could due with being double glazed.beds are small if you have long legs.
Comfy newly decorated room, good location for Rockingham speedway
The Chef suddenly decided he was too busy to take any more orders for food at 8.00pm so we had to go elsewhere ! There was no toiletries available in the bathroom only a small bar of soap, and no shelfs to put anything. We shared our room with the biggest spider I have ever seem. Breakfast was served too late (after we had left for the day!)
Cost; cheap and cheerful
Lack of food being served and large beetles sharing the rooms
The attitude of the staff was great.
Walking into a public house and queuing to book in, the room we had was at the front of the hotel/pub and was quite noisy also when taxis or customers were leaving the fumes from their engines was entering our room so we had to close our windows. Not good, the breakfast was awful I chose to upgrade my breakfast and soon wished I hadn't, it was swimming in grease the egg was not cooked properly and I hate Lincolnshire bloody sausage's but saying that the continental breakfast wasn't much better.
It is what it is you get what you pay for Value for money Good
Room very small. No lift!
Comfortable bed and room was clean and well presented, close to where I was working
How loud the music was, noisy guests and price of the breakfast for what you got.
This is not a hotel, but a pub wIth rooms!
The hotel bar area and restaurant was good with friendly locals.
Misrepresentation of the fact "breakfast included". Taken to mean "a full English" and told on arrival only "continental". Not even that, only toast and cereals. Not enough when going out for a full days fishing. The local area was depressed and run down and a bit dirty.
good location, good staff, good food , clean and comfortable
curtains too thin woke up with the dawn too much light coming through
we liked the place staff all very nice
the saturday night you have a wedding the guest from the wedding was fighting all night in the coridors so if we didnt pay when we first got there i wouldnt of paid for that night as we got no sleep
power going off at around 10 pm no tv brewing phone charging atall before breakfast. Complained to the breakfast staff she tried to sort things out.
