Just a 5 minute walk from central Grantham, this charming Grade II heritage-listed Georgian townhouse offers comfortable accommodations with breakfast included, at great value-for-money rates. Dating back to 1795, the family-run Red House still retains many of its original features, while also offering modern amenities. Free Wi-Fi wireless internet access is available and there is a computer for guests’ use in the breakfast room. All of the large and attractive rooms have private bathrooms or have private bathroom facilities. Each room combines original features with modern facilities, including mini-fridges, microwaves, TVs and tea/coffee making facilities. A full cooked English breakfast is included in the room rates, with flexible breakfast times to fit in around your schedule. The Red House is easily accessible from highways A1 and A52, and Grantham train station is just a 2-minute taxi ride away. There is ample free parking in front of the house. Very friendly and extremely obliging. Amy bent over backwards to make our stay pleasant. Old premises, but clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend it to other travellers. Being old - stairs, but unfortunately they are a necessary evil in old buildings.

Price so I can`t complain too much Shower was a little small and inconsistent, the sanitary plumbing did not work well, it was Sani-flow which was noisy and inefficient .

This is a lovely little guest house. We stayed in Grantham before continuing our travels further north and it was a great stop. There are good facilities nearby, it is close to the city centre, and the Red House itself is lovely. Nothing really, it's all good.
