The staff were very nice. Beds were comfy and very clean and the food was lovely. The hotel looked a little run down and the carpets in our room werent very clean! There were very loud kitchen fans on below our room and although they did go off when the kitchen closed there was still something making a noise. The kichen fans came on at 7.45 waking us up.

An old mature building, our room was cold when we arrived but a turn on the radiator control very quickly brought it up to temperature. We had a very good evening meal and breakfast was all that could be wished for. The number of people eating in the restaurant was far in excess of the number of people staying there.

A most welcoming atmosphere. I felt at home as soon as we walked in. An excellent Manager who did everything to make our visit pleasant. Very high standard of food. We had an excellent dinner and breakfast. .Always plenty of hot water.T There wasn't anything I didn't like. Just a couple of recommendations. Inthe bathroom a hook on the wall above the shower and a curtain would make things a lot easier. Attention to checking a few minor details eg.bedside lamps and kettles , neither of which worked initially. They were, however soon put right when requested.

Really enjoyed our stay at the Redwell Inn. Staff were friendly especially the young gentleman manager who made us feel very welcome. The room was warm comfortable and very clean, The food was very good and extremely well presented, lots of choice at breakfast time and evening meals much better than usual 'pub grub' The whole place is well decorated and has a fresh feel about it. Lovely ambience in the restaurant Not many tv channels, problem with signal maybe. Comfy double bed but one side was up against the wall so made it difficult for getting in and out for one of us.

The decor, food, room and staff were all excellent. We would certainly stay here again. The personal touch from the owner was much appreciated. The room was slightly on the small size - but immaculate.

Helpful staff. Clean room and toilet. There was clothes hanging space but zero space for putting clothes away if staying more than one night. Also, a single bed in a double room - why? It took up so much space. It would have been far too small as a family room. That spoiled the room so much.

Bed was comfortable. Room was clean. Breakfast was nice, though not exactly huge portions. I told them when I checked out that: 1) the plumbing in the room had an annoyingly high-pitched oise when either the shower was run, or the cold water tap. 2) bathroom was extremely small and no shelf for toiletries. I had to put mine on the toilet water cistern. 3) the shower head could not be pointed downwards properly. On this basis I asked for a small refund, and the lady at reception said 'He will have to decide to refund on the credit card, without telling me who he was' In short, the customer service was disinterested.and unenthusis]astic, typical of budget British hotel I find.
