Overlooking Millennium Square, Ibis Bristol Centre is situated in Bristol’s vibrant Harbourside area. The modern hotel has a 24-hour front desk, a stylish bar and cafe restaurant.
Score from 1831 reviews Very good
The Washington is a Grade 2 Listed building less than a mile from Bristol city centre, and a 10-minute walk from Clifton Village.

There were only a few minor things but nothing that significantly impacted on me. For example the hair dryer wasn't the best, the hangers in the cupboard were old and a random asortment....
The staff were really lovely and helpful and the room was clean and well presented. The mattress was amazing!
Larger towels would have been nice. I found getting up the stairs a little difficult at times.
Very comfy bed and attentive staff.
The hotel has a policy of not printing for guests, which I found outrageous. It is usually amongst the services provided by a decent hotel to print, say, a few pages of A4 black and white, for a small fee if necessary, as people are forever needing to print boarding passes etc. Instead, I had to get up early and walk half a mile to a print shop recommended by the hotel staff, which, it emerged, wouldn't print such a small number of pages. In the end I had to ask around in Clifton and finally found a tiny photo shop at the other end of the village who were kind enough to print the few pages I needed. Really very unnecessary.
This is a pretty little hotel that is very quiet and relaxed. The staff are very friendly.
Very noisy hotel room, lots of banging doors with no sound insulation, very hard bed.
Location is great for clifton village and Bristol center
Only con for me is the controlled parking on the road where the hotel is located; which is to be expected in a city centre. However this didnt affect our stay. There is some free parking however few spaces. The hotel staff were keen to accommodate us and allowed us to park our car on there drive. There are around 3 spaces.
Staff were always very polite and helpful where necessary. Hotel is clean and comfortable. Good location, around 20 min walk from city centre, it's a lovely scenic wall.
No English Breakfast
There is very limited parking in the address (4 spaces in the day I believe) thanks to Bristol mayor George Ferguson's lunacy, and I believe there is no lift.
When we arrived the gentleman in reception who greeted us was extremely polite and helpful. Hotel was clean and had a high end look and feel
Lacks ambience of any description. Noise from the bar downstairs.
no lift for the very elderly , there should have been the thought of no stairs or as little as possible for my mum in law.. but nobody mentioned anything./ I was also asked about 4 times if it should be a twin room or double.. which doesnt spek of efficiency.. but still very accomodating and friendly
very accomodating and friendly.
We have been there just for a night as we had a wedding at the zoo. Really good location, staff really nice and friendly. We didn't have the chance to try the breakfast as we went away quite early. Room really clean and bathroom really nice. The only problem is that it took me about 5 minutes to fully understand how the shower works.
Inclusion of a continental breakfast in the room rate would have been good.
Good location well presented hotel.
We just wanted a clean, warm room for the night with a comfortable bed. We got just that so no complaints.
Single bed - shared bathroom - shower temp kept changing presumably because of showers being used elsewhere
Comfortable bed - nice carpet - tea in room - phone in room
Did not serve proper breakfast on roll, croissant and orange juice.
The hotel room was very clean, cozy and warm. The location was just perfect, but all the people working there are absolutely amazing! Friendly, ready to assist, to give you advice on good restaurants and pubs, and all of them with a big smile on heir faces! Thank you all for making me feel like I never left home:) Don't forget to visit the cafe downstairs, great beverages and big selection of shisha...
No car park, but we managed to get a spot in front of the hotel
Free wifi, very convenient for the university and Whiteladies Road restaurants
Great service from Rita and the other receptionist
The shower was not great in the bathroom, you were not able to have a proper shower due to the eaves in the roof.
Good clean room with comfy bed, bedroom was a good temperature and not too hot.
No lift , No restaurant, room very noisy
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very good and kept clean by the staff. The hotel is well placed for visiting many attractions and is a short walk into town.
Noisy room, no double glazing so traffic noise woke us up. Room was hardly 4 star - rather 'tired', rather small, bit bleak in all. No bath, very cramped shower cubicle and tiny bathroom - definitely one at a time.
Walking distance of Clifton village and city centre
Location and friendliness of all staff we encountered.
I have no remarks for this section
easy access to all amenities and a good variety of restaurants
The room was very hot and stuffy. Opening the window helped a bit, but even in February it didn't cool the room down much!
We weren't in the hotel for very long - just one overnight. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and the bed was very comfortable.
The staffs are very helpful
