beds were sagging in the middle, bed covers uncomfortable for warm weather, bedside lights did not work, Wi fi continually needed to be reconnected by reception every time we used our devices
The head conceirge was fantastic and extremely charming and helpful. Made my stay so much better.
They were renovating to outside of their htel, and work started beforee 7am. not goof when on holidays. sccaffolding outside my window, so no privacy in the morning either.
Good mattresses, modern conveniences, great location
Tiny rooms and hallways. Clearly, the space was divided up to get every possible square inch for rooms. Walls a very thin, so any noise in the hallway or neighboring rooms sounds like their in the room with you.
The newly refurbished rooms are lovely and, while compact, are comfortable and quiet. The hotel is just around the corner from Fernandez and Wells where you can get the best flat white in London.
Our room wasn't ready when we arrived (after three pm). The reception staff member assisting us was not at all helpful and told us to just wait in the lobby.
I like everything about the hotel but if possible they should add a swimming pool to the facility.
The breakfast is not too good.
Good service, excellent location, good value for money
We stayed at the Regency twice over a three week period. The second room that we were allocated was much better laid out and spacious than the first which had very limited space for our luggage.
Location, clean rooms, room service, modern bathroom, comfortable beds...
The room was lovely but it would be better suited for a business trip bit over priced for size and the amount of use the room received. The staff were nice but could of been a little more friendly instead of staying behind the front desk, the cleaning staff were very friendly and quiet.
The room needed a little extra attention the light over the door was not working, some wires were a little exposed in the bathroom.
Size of room
Well decorated room , good bathroom fittings, very comfortable bed
No buffet for English breakfast
Exceedingly small very dark room. Long hallway to room, very gloomy. Staff at front desk discussing clients in a derogatory way in front of other clients.
A friend and I went downstairs to the restaurant to eat supper one night because we didn't want to go out for supper. We got down and it felt like they didn't even want us down there and while I was eating he came to grab my plate before I was even done my dinner. Very rude service and people
Clean fresh room Excellent bathroom Excellent location
Breakfast costs excessive
All the above as per your survey.
Attitude of your staff not one but several members of staff, we usually stay at the Kensington hotel . We thought that we would support your hotel this time however we willbe returning to the Kensington hotel on our next visit
Staff is friendly and welcoming . For me the location is really excellent . V& A is near by as is The Picadilly Line . Lots of little places to eat in the area .
The worst thing are their pillows ! Really cheap and hard !
It's location was excellent for The King's Road, Hyde Park, Royal Albert Hall and Albert Memorial and The National History Museum. Breakfast was not included in our booking but we received a complimentary continental breakfast when we checked-in. We don't know why but it was a fantastic surprise.
They had scafolding up when we arrived and we were not told about it upon booking. There were work men walking passed our windows, so we had to close our curtains.Maybe this is why we had a complimentary breafast?
It was close to attractions
This is a very conveniently placed hotel and close to South Kensington tube station and a host of lovely restaurants in easy walking distance as well as Kings Road, and embankment. We were there to see a show and were well placed for Covent Garden being only a few stops away. The room was smaller than expected but well thought out, immaculately clean and the staff couldn't have been more helpful.
The location was very good: it's close to the South Kensington underground station where District, Circle and Piccadilly lines stops. The staff was kind and professional and we also found a couple of receptionists speaking italian.
The room was nice but really too small; anyway, acceptable for us spending very little time in hotel
Very nice hotel Comfy beds Nice showers Good location
Could do with a bit updating Small room for expensive price
There was no wifi
Some of the worker in the hotel are so rude , and not helpful
Beds were comfortable, location good.
No refrigerator, no iron, no hair conditioner, no lotion, very few t.v. channels offered (no sports of interest),
Location was perfect for what I wanted to do in London. The cleanliness and customer service offered was excellent.
Slight language problem when staff did not understand what I was saying.
