Only a short walk from South Ken station, modern hotel, clean, with friendly staff
Paying for Wifi, poor quality of first room with noisy ventilation fan outside room - avoid room 418. Second room on second floor much better, bigger bed etc.
Large bed Good sized room Clean,
Lights that work on sensors Poor quality food in restaurant
Staff especially one male very rude and cheeky towards myself and my boyfriend. Treated differently than other residents i think because we where a young couple.
we needed a nice and average price hotel in Chelsea/Kensington in order to stay in London in an unexpected night. Very modern bedroom and nice building. The Rumanian and Sicilian girls at the front desk were lovely and good professionals. 10/10
Matress is not the best
The staff were friendly and welcoming. The room service was excellent, our afternoon tea was delivered within the specified timescale and was delicious. The room and bathroom were clean and perfect for our overnight stay.
Rooms were beautiful, tidy and clean. 2 minute walk from south Kensington tube and natural history museum. Lovely clean area to stay
Shower did not work and we stayed 2 nights. Notified staff but nothing was done.
We liked everything about the hotel. The lovely customer service on the desk, the room and the bathroom.
Friendly staff and a no fuss stay.
We had no problems to report.
Location staff pleasant (moved me to better room when complained abouts faults with room)
Size of room smaller than pictures Air-con and fan not working - had to move room
Well I thought it was just a room. OK but with a couple of irritations.
The lights turned themselves off after 5 minutes unless you knew the secret trick with your rooom key. Not advised of this by staff. The WIFI was chargeable and wasn't immediately working on arrival and needed bothersome passwords and such. The check in process was very slow, just not enough staff per numbers of guests.
Location excellent (why we chose it).
Small room (quite difficult for a couple to move around simultaneously). Lighting in room quite poor with many dark corners and quite impossible to see into some of the low shelves for clothes storage - we had to feel for them or use our smart phone torches, which we felt was unacceptable.
Location and tea/coffee making facilities in room. Comfortable beds
Sadly everything in this hotel depends on which room you are allocated. We had 3 rooms during our stay because of poor maintenance issues. Room 230, safety light constantly flickering on and off and lighting up room , ducting system making very loud noise, unable to sleep and moved to Room 415 where we unable to turn down the heating and it was unbearably hot, not able to open the window as on very busy main road, also the safety light stayed on for 7 mins after getting into bed after using the bathroom, awful at 4am. Finally we were moved to 029 , perfect. Staff seemed very unconcerned about our problems other than moving us. Why does saying 'sorry' mean everything is now acceptable. Extremely poor wifi, almost unobtainable. Didn't take breakfast, expensive.
Location Room Staff
Shower did not work properly however we reported this and it was sorted very quickly.
Front desk staff were rude and unhelpful with regard to credit card payment arrangements. Wifi incurred a charge and was unreliable and of poor quality. Would not return to this hotel because of these issues.
loved the location of the hotel, it was easy to find and a 5 minute walk from the subway. The natural history museum, science museum and hyde park were a 5 five minute walk away too. The bed was amazing, very hard to get out of also the shower was like a waterfall, absolutely perfect.
There wasn't anything I was disappointed with
Location was perfect, 5 minutes walk to the metro.
Room a bit small
the availability of the business lounge and the simple breakfast.
the water flow in the shower is too weak.
Location is superb, in a residential area and yet close to city center, by metro or by bus.
The breakfast at the Elysium lounge was a bit poor.
Smart modern room
Weak shower( floor5 )
The friendliness and polite staff
I was charged in full day before we stayed and again on departure Now having terrible trouble trying to get my money back for the overpayment Not happy Charged for 12 rooms only booked 5 rooms
EVERYTHING. IT WAS CLOSE TO THE ROYAL ALBERT HALL ONLY 15 MINUTE WALK AWAY, CLOSE TO SHOPS WILL STAY AGAIN.
ONLY DONE CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST
Couldn't use bar due to private party
The regency style and friendly staff in a good location for the local attractions
Room 501 is right opposite the lifts and the doors are noisy when they open which disturb you at night time. The room has a strange step in the floor which could actually be dangerous
