The room was spacious, Nice comfortable bed.
The staff needed to cheer up.. They seemed very snappy and not very happy in their work.
Very friendly staff
Accessible rooms on ground floor, car parking, restaurant, friendly, helpful staff, location.
Breakfast on Sunday was only until 9.30am. On a Sunday! But it was a good breakfast.
We had a lovely view of the river from our room. The hotel is only a short walk from the centre of Rye. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. There is on-site parking.
very friendly staff and a good location
The location and plenty of parking. Friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast.
Staff friendly and catered for our needs.
A very pleasant stay in a well placed location for walking into the town. Very polite and helpful staff, very enjoyable set Valentines dinner menu and a good buffet breakfast served in a light and airy dinning room.
The heating could have been increased a little higher in the dinning room as we did feel rather chilly during dinner.
Friendly staff and nice food
Very hard uncomfortable bed!
Quiet location just what we needed.
Nothing on this visit
A good location for access to sight see in Rye. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The English breakfast was good
If you don't want an English breakfast. the "Continental" was not very good. There was little choice, on our second day there was no yogurt or grapefruit on offer.
Location was lovely by the river. There is a large conservatory where breakfast is held that is light and pleasant. We only stayed one night so did not explore all the facilities
Was extremely enjoyable, staff were excellent, restaurant service attentive food was very good.
On arrival we had a very warm welcome, warm room lovely breakfast. All staff friendly and helpful. We had a slight problem with the toilet flush and on reporting it,it was dealt with straight away. Highly recommended.
The hotel is in great location the staff are friendly and can't do enough for you food is lovely and plenty of if the hotel made our return to rye after 5 years a trip that was enjoyable relaxing and wouldn't hesitate to return to the river haven again
Nothing not to like
old furniture in bedroom
It was not very busy
There was dredging going on in the river over night it was very noisy and didn't sleep much
Staff very warm and friendly. Nice riverside view, good parking facilities. Pleased to see vegetarian option including vegesausages was offered.
Nothing to dislike
We liked the fact that the room was spacious and the staff very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was lovely and the location of the hotel was convenient and easy to access.
Good breakfast. Nice position for a hotel
First member of staff we met was quite unfriendly. The other members of staff were fine. The beds very uncomfortable.
the area, staff very willing to help.
bed was hard
Food and rooms were good
Pillows seemed hard. Lack of communal space to be with friends.
The staff were so welcoming and helpful. One case did not arrive at Heatrow when we arrived and took two days to get to hotel. At all times the staff did everything to help. Also they helped defrost car - just could not do enough for us
Close to the old rye town. You can walk from the hotel across the river and you are there in the middle of this gorgeous town. Great places to eat.
The new extension on the hotel is clean and lovely but lacks the old world charm you may expect when booking this hotel. Wifi not accessible in the end rooms.
