Nice quiet location, set in beautiful area. Food was excellent, lovely breakfast and evening meals, and reasonably priced! Staff very welcoming. We would stay again.

A secluded 17th-century pub, The Rockford Inn is situated at the bottom of a wooded gorge within the heart of Exmoor National Park overlooking the East Lyn River. It offers free Wi-Fi, free parking and home-cooked meals. The Rockford’s cosy rooms offer en suite bathrooms. The elegant rooms also include comfortable beds and tea and coffee-making facilities and a TV. Guests can enjoy traditional English home-cooked food in the characterful dining area, with an open log fire and exposed wooden beams. The meals are made from seasonal local produce, and the bar serves real ales poured direct from the cask. Just outside the village of Brendon, surrounded by stunning Exmoor scenery, the inn is sandwiched between the moors and the cliffs of the North Devon coast. With fantastic views of the sea at nearby Countisbury. The twin towns of Lynton and Lynmouth are just 4 miles away.
