Third stay here. Early start for Eurotunnel crossing. Tom made our cooked b/fast as a favour @ 7.30am. (Didn`t realise that b/fast was 8.00 onwards) this was much appreciated. Good start to holiday in France. (The steak meal in the restaurant the night before was good too.) |

Closeness of the Inn to Leeds Castle (the main purpose of our visit) also 20mins drive from Maidstone and/or Sittingbourne. Food in the dining are was extrememly yummy & the fried breakfast a good 'setup' for the day Room walls quite thin, 2ladies were up most of the night talking. |

Liked the character of the building and the exposed beams. Friendliness of the staff. Seperate eating area. Too many A4 printed notices in the building. Looks cheap. The soup of the day was the same both days and the specials were the same both days. |

The room was comfortable and good value The food available in the Inn was poor. There was no food available on the Sunday we arrived, and we were told we could help ourselves to a buffet that was left over from lunchtime. I declined and went to a nearby Indian that I didn't really want. I chose to eat in a nearby pub the next night. |

It was near the wedding we were attending, other than that nothing The rooms were grubby to say the least, the breakfast was very basic, no fruit juice, limited cereals, the cooked breakfast whilst well cooked was shall we say on the small side one of everything. And the Manageress did not deal very well when questioned, infact would say she was aggresive. |

The Roebuck Inn was central in location to all the family and friends we intended to visit during our surprise stay after a cruise from Dover. We were disappointed with our room as it had the extractor fan from the kitchen beside the window, which was extremely noisy. They were unable to change rooms which again we were upset about as we had booked on the 8th March and paid in advance! We also had very disturbed nights with doors and loud arguements in neighbouring rooms and outside. As we had hoped for a relaxing 'wind down' from our holiday and I'm sorry to say we felt upset and thoroughly let down. We also had to wait one morning 40mins.for the dining room to be opened for breakfast with no apology and later told by the lady it was because the was a traffic hold up! This we were worried about as it seemed there was nobody on the premises over night.Poor selection at breakfast. |

It was nice, that the landlady helped out with ´hairmousse´. It was convinient for us, because we were near Leeds Castle We came five miniuts late for breakfast and got only some coffee and toast. The hotel is not very neat and clean. |

Staff hardly had time for us when we arrived (08.30 pm). It should be possible to switch off the heater in the bathroom. Now the whole room felt hot, making it impossible to sleep well. Breakfast was very poor. Nothing to do in the small village. |

Staff were very helpful and pleasant. Food was excellent, freshly cooked and well presented. Initial room cleanliness poor, but cleaned on request. Disabled washbasin was difficult to use and too small. Ramp into room would be difficult for an unaccompanied wheelchair user. |

Help in organising the dinner we had for 30 in the restaurant on the first night Poor choice and service for breakfast. Everything just too much trouble. Misleading signs about breakfast timing and then some of the party threatened with no breakfast if they did not order before 9am. Had to request stronger coffee, more tea, butter, jam, brown toast. On second morning told by waitress we couldn't have brown toast on a Sunday! and then brought some!! |

It was ok at the price and in a pretty village convenient for us. The staff were a bit offhand and did not go out of their way to be helpful. The breakfast set up is chaotic though the food itself was fine. |

The bathroom was nice, especially the shower. The staff were rude, there was still coffee in the tea pot that hadnt been cleaned out and was going mouldy over the top, the kettle was full of stale water, bedroom was a little dirty, generally not impressed. |

Very close to major roads enabling to easily acess all te places we wanted to visit during our holiday. The breakfasts were very good as were the evening meals we tried.Service was excellent and the manageress friendly. The room was very small and was made even more cramped with the access to the wardrobe impeded by a table drawer unit. |

The Roebuck Inn was good value for money, the rooms were nice, the staff were pleasant, and the breakfast was tasty. Breakfast was too early - 8-9 am on a Saturday. There was no lounge area to sit in during the evenings, as it was locked. |
