The location on to the market square in Warwick was beautiful at christmas time. The rooms were clean, cosy and tastefully decorated. Breakfast was tasty and varied. I will be back the next time we visit the UK.
Room decorated lovely and bathroom excellent with soap and shower gel. Breakfast was good but cold when I got it . Staff very nice and friendly.
Going out in the cold and rain to get to breakfast use pub . Very old and noisy when anyone used stairs or moved around. Price for a single person was very high. Checking in was a bit chaotic as the staff so busy with lunch at that time and no real check in desk.
The hotel was very nice and the breakfast was excellent. Very convenient for everything in the area.
We had a twin room, which was nice, but the beds were very, very narrow. Not normal size and a bit uncomfortable because of that.
Staff very friendly and helpful, breakfast was amazing.
The Rose and Crown itself was very nice and the majority of the staff were excellent. Room 4 very nice. Dinner very good.
Rm 1 double bed uncomfortable. Bathroom rm 4 cold and damage to side of bath. Food and drink very expensive. Very noisy as we were above the bar and it was noisy until early morning. 7am staff arrived put music on and were quite loud.
The quality of the food and the location was excellent.
Some of the staff were lacking training...it is a busy time ( Xmas parties) so we understand that perhaps a number of new young inexperienced staff.
Staff were lovely and welcoming. Food was excellent.
We stayed in room 7 which was tiny and had a foul smell. This may be an exception as we did not see (or smell!) any other rooms. We soon discovered it was the wardrobe which we had to keep closed for the whole of our stay. This meant that we could not hang any clothes up and instead had to drape our things over the towel rail in the bathroom. It spoilt the first half hour of our trip but we soon got over it and enjoyed the rest of our time.
Fabulous breakfasts and extremely helpful and friendly staff
The room was very clean and comfortable. We were in walking distance of the main sights.
More clarity of information needed prior to booking e.g. just about the only parking available was the multi-story which, admittedly, was nearby. We expected our room to be in the Rose and Crown and not in the annexe. Poor selection of breads and fruits at breakfast.
Our entire stay was fantastic, the staff really look after the in-house guests and went out of their way for us on a VERY busy Saturday night. The food is outstanding, the breakfast being particularly good and representing great value in the B&B rate. The rooms are clean and modern and our family room was really spacious. We didn't have any worries with noise but were at the back of the building.
Central location, pub had a nice friendly atmosphere.
Car parking a bit of a pain until we got used to it.
Location Excellent staff
Poor wifi connection Very noisy rooms Dogs permitted - dog smell very unpleasant in the dining areas.
Rooms very smartly decorated. Nice friendly restaurant with good food.
Access difficult with heavy suitcases.
Great location, comfortable and food good. Only after we booked did we find out it was the Mop Fair, right outside the window. Noisy but entertaining and made the weekend more special. Warwick Castle was great - didn't appear to be a great deal else in the town but quite handy for visiting places like Stratford. Overall very nice weekend and would recommend the Rose and Crown
Spacious rooms. I was with a group of 5 mature couples and we ate in the private dining area on Saturday . Excellent. Staff were very good and very happy and pleasant , service was very good . Food was very good. Would recommend highly
Beds are too narrow
amazing bathroom, great view over the square, comfortable beds, lovely breakfast and very friendly staff. Never been to the town before, the hotel couldn't have been better located!
if I HAD to think of something to quibble about it would be the narrow stairs up to bedroom, but it's a very minor thing!
Nice decor, located in central Warwick, nice breakfast.
Overall very disappointed, mostly due to noise from bar downstairs and slow service. The bar is very lively and could be easily heard in the room. There was no double glazing so the street cleaners woke us up and the music in the bar started again when breakfast started at 7:30am. We did not get a good night's sleep. The bed had some sort of plastic mattress protector that rustled when you turned over. The WiFi didn't really seem to work. Checking in and out was very slow as it was at the bar.
Location, facilities, staff, food, Warwick
Noisy. Its above a pub so... Parking is fiddly.
Rude staff, rooms weren't in the pub they were around the corner.
The steps to the rooms if you have big luggages.
My room, in the annexe, was modern, clean & comfortable. Very quiet, as the main bar/restaurant is being renovated. Hassle-free Wifi.
Style Location Atmosphere Friendly Staff
The breakfast was excellent and we liked having a large room as we were travelling with our 11 yer old grandson.
The window in the bathroom was beside a patio where young people would go to smoke or have a drink. We don't know if they were guests or staff of the Rose and Crown and had to keep pur curtains closed all the time.
