Beds are too narrow
amazing bathroom, great view over the square, comfortable beds, lovely breakfast and very friendly staff. Never been to the town before, the hotel couldn't have been better located!
if I HAD to think of something to quibble about it would be the narrow stairs up to bedroom, but it's a very minor thing!
Nice decor, located in central Warwick, nice breakfast.
Overall very disappointed, mostly due to noise from bar downstairs and slow service. The bar is very lively and could be easily heard in the room. There was no double glazing so the street cleaners woke us up and the music in the bar started again when breakfast started at 7:30am. We did not get a good night's sleep. The bed had some sort of plastic mattress protector that rustled when you turned over. The WiFi didn't really seem to work. Checking in and out was very slow as it was at the bar.
Location, facilities, staff, food, Warwick
Noisy. Its above a pub so... Parking is fiddly.
Rude staff, rooms weren't in the pub they were around the corner.
The steps to the rooms if you have big luggages.
My room, in the annexe, was modern, clean & comfortable. Very quiet, as the main bar/restaurant is being renovated. Hassle-free Wifi.
Style Location Atmosphere Friendly Staff
The breakfast was excellent and we liked having a large room as we were travelling with our 11 yer old grandson.
The window in the bathroom was beside a patio where young people would go to smoke or have a drink. We don't know if they were guests or staff of the Rose and Crown and had to keep pur curtains closed all the time.
Choice of breakfast was excellent, lovely decor, lovely staff.
Clean and very nice staff.
Licensed until 1am meaning lots of noise until well after this time.
our bedrooms were located in the square away from the pub where we ate and was clean and of good quality , maintained by good staff
the female manager seemed unable to cope, breakfast on our last day was a disaster we were offered a free holiday but declined . No attempt was made to adjust the bill despite acceptance of our complaints
We had dinner at night and the food was excellent. The breakfast was also excellent.
We struggled to get the Wifi access in the room.
The location was fabulous. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable with great wifi and all conveniences. We ate at the associated restaurant and service was excellent and the food delicious. Enjoyable.
My wife and I stopped off in Warwick, halfway home from Edinburgh to Devon, just for one night. Our welcome was warm and friendly our room was in another building from The Rose and Crown but was very clean and comfortable and better than we had expected. The staff were very pleasant and eager to please. The food was of a very high standard (evening meal and breakfast). All in all very good value for money.
I am disappointed to have to write anything in this column - but had the weather been wet the walk from our accommodation to breakfast would not have been nice but it was dry so I am being picky. However my only real issue is parking. Parking at the venue is within a time restricted public payment controlled area. Overnight parking is free but at 9 am when breakfast was to be enjoyed I was on edge waiting for the local warden to come by which he duly did and a leisurely breakfast had to be rushed and we had to book out before the very short half hour was up.
The staff was amazing and breakfast was very good. I just wish we had been able to plan a longer stay. Someday we will be back.
Room very attractive and extremely clean. Fittings good. Large bathroom with very good shower.
Bathroom needs a towel rail or ring for hand towels close to the basin.
The Hotel location, downtown warwick, about 10 minutes from Castle warwick. The room was very spacious, double bed, sofa bed and still had plenty of room for an extra bed. The bathroom was big and very clean. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant and it was excellent
Location, clean, pretty staff
The staff were all very friendly and very helpful. The quality of the accommodation (for the price)was excellent. The meal we had was at the better end of good pub grub
The girls are very nice. The room is very clean and bright.
I don't like the pillow.
Room was excellent and the food was very good. Wide choice for breakfast.
A bit noisy at night due to it being a popular place to eat and drink.
Excellent location, right in the middle of everything and a short walk from anything you need. The restaurant was absolutely lovely, the staff were very helpful and accommodating, and it was generally a lovely visit.

The restaurant was in a Beautiful location right on the market square in the middle of Warwick. The restaurant it's self was lovely inside, very clean with friendly and attentive staff. The room was also clean and comfortable and the breakfast that was included in the price was second to none.
Firstly the way up into the hotel was through an area of the back of the restaurant that was a storage area which gave the impression that the rooms were more of a add on to the restaurant rather than giving the rooms a feeling of a hotel, all if would have needed was a door to separate the two different aspects of the hotel, also the halls and stairwell were rather tacky and out dated but this is a small criticism as of course you spend a minimal amount of time in this area. Secondly and much more importantly the bathroom was in quite poor condition, completely opposite to the lovely bedroom, the paintwork was shabby, the wood work unfinished, there was sealant in the bath and on the floor, the sealant that made it onto the tiles around the bath where it was supposed to be was also done to a poor standard. The overflow in the bath was missing and the surrounds where rusting and the shower area had dirt the in ridges between tiles. Though I must say the toilet and sink area were spotlessly clean.
