Excellent location, right in the middle of everything and a short walk from anything you need. The restaurant was absolutely lovely, the staff were very helpful and accommodating, and it was generally a lovely visit.

The key is always quality of staff and they could not have been more helpful and obliging under the thoughtful management of Suzie Ayling. Being superb starts at the top and Peach Pub Co and Suzie are just terrific (and not only to me as they are clearly loved by their many other customers).
The rain while I was travelling to Warwick, but that is hardly the fault of The Rose & Crown.
Everything about Warwick apart from the weather.........and losing on the horses...:-( (can't blame the hotel for that).
No handle on Bathroom door
Great location, friendly staff and the break fast was amazing. Room was also nice.
Wifi didn't work even though it stated it was available. Room got a bit hot at times.
These rooms are above a pub so joyful noises can be heard into the wee hours. Kinda fun.
These rooms are above a pub so joyful noises can be heard into the wee hours. Hard to sleep.
Breakfast, room and location were good
Noisy from other guests until early hours. Throbbing noise from boiler until 1am. Room was quite stuffy.
Very noisy extractor ducts from restaurant below in room 7. Went on till late and started early in morning. Couldn't have window open as a result.
Room was above shops in the local square not in the Rose and Crown itself. The room was very clean and smart, cleaned and fresh towels daily. Breakfasts were good.
The room was a bit too small- couldn't open the wardrobe fully because of the bed. No bath, just shower.
Breakfast all inclusive and rich
Good position - right in the market place
Great location in the centre of Warwick, a short walk from the castle. Very helpful, friendly staff. Lovely, busy pub with good atmosphere. Good value for money.
We had a small room on the first floor, above the pub and it was a little noisy. Not too bad though.
NO parking, constantly feeding parking meters. Staff attitude when problems were highlighted, problem with mould in the bathroom highlighted twice, still nothing done. Hit & miss nature of things, patched holes in bedroom wall Unfortunate & blatantly rude attitude of some staff when a request for a receipt was made going as far as handing me the receipt with her back to me.
Great location for discovering all Warwick's attractions well appointed rooms and excellent food
The location was fabulous. Right in the centre of town. Easy walking distance to all attractions.
The hotel has quite steep steps which making carrying a bag or suitcase difficult.
Location Bacon!! Size of Room
Plastic under-sheets on bed Unable to open windows
Staff were very helpful, the gentleman who greeted me came to our car and carried our cases to our room. On entering the room there was relaxing music playing which was a nice touch. The room was very nicely decorated and well equipped. We had full English breakfasts which were freshly cooked, very hot and tasted like locally produced ingredients - you could have what you wanted from their restaurant breakfast menu - all was delicious.
It's on old building so the bathroom was a little 'cock-eyed'! The bathroom light above the sink didn't appear to work. We had a lovely room facing out on to the Market Place but because it's a Restaurant & Bar and opens from very early morning for breakfasts we had a lot of noise from delivery people and the refuse collectors.
Fantastic location and accommodation
charming little hotel and the restaurant is great!! hotel staff are top as well
room drawers were not cleaned out so we found things inside of them
Great location. Friendly staff which helped us with our luggage (rare these days) Very central and picturesque place. Set in a little cul-de-sac. Rooms very comfortable and modern. Wifi great. Although we wanted adjoining rooms for our 3 children, 6,8,10, we were in the room right next door and felt very safe as the accommodation is upstairs to the restaurant/bar. Breakfast was lovely with a good spread, being summertime, a seasonal fruit platter would have been more appealing that just the usual, apples and oranges. However, the cooked component of breakfast made up for this. It was magnificent!!! I would stay again and apart from the noise component, I would recommend it!
Noisy. We stayed on a Thursday night in summer time, so the sun set later which encouraged folk to drink and stay later. This was fine, but the noise did drift upstairs due to old windows (no double glazing) They did have a sign outside saying that patrons were to move to back beer garden after midnight which helped a little but the noise was still there and got quite loud. I think it would be better if they moved people from 10 or 11 as it kept our children awake and considering it promotes it as a "family room", considerations need to be made for families. Once kids are asleep they are out for the count, but it was so hard getting them to sleep and this impacted our next full day at Warwick castle. Although said as a family room, it wasn't, they were next door to eachother which we dealt with but still a concern if you have younger children. (We locked the kids in at night and left them with a key, but would have appreciated being advised of this) Other than that a great place to stay :)
Staff Wine Accommodation Breakfast
Very spacious rooms overlooking attractive town square. Pub had a nice atmosphere and good menu and all of the staff were extremely friendly and efficient. The breakfast, included in the room rate, was excellent. As we stayed on a Saturday night we were able to park right outside the pub which was very convenient. Would definitely stay here again.
Couple of minor niggles in one of our rooms - no handle on bathroom door and no hairdryer (was one in the other room though).
Right on the square and close to everything.
Noisy back street outside window and pub/restaurant open late.
