Nice suite,comfortable and a very good size. Breakfast was excellent, especially the smoked salmon with scrambled egg

Didn't like the difficult entrance with the very large craters in driveway entrance

Large room with very comfortable bed. Sofa and Good size TV. Very clean well decorated. It was a quite and peaceful setting.

Bathroom far to small.not room to put towels or toilet bag. It was a very tight squeeze.

The owner was warm and friendly- on arrival we received a complimentary pot of tea and cake!. Room small modern and had all the necessary requirements. Breakfast was excellent- served hot and non greasy! will definitely stay again.

We enjoyed one night but had wished we could have stayed longer. Complimentary tea & Coffee and home made cake was a nice touch and a welcoming surprise after a long journey.

What a great place to stay, would recomend this place to anyone as the staff were very welcoming and breakfast was super, will be using this place again

Very friendly couple who went out of their way to facilitate all our requirements. Next door to the best fine dining restaurant in the area. Good clean pool we used every morning before breakfast, fantastic way to start the day!

The owners were very helpful, my Wife & I were staying with my 94yr old Mother who they put into a very nice ground floor room, this En-Suite Bedroom had been recently modernised to a good standard. Our Room was very nice but ageing. The Rothesay Breakfast was excellent with a good choice. We only stayed for one night but happy with the accommodation.

We only saw the Owners when Booking in, & when we returned home at Midnight we were let in by them. It would have been nice to have had more interaction with them or a members of staff, I wanted to report that the TV in our room would not work, it was very old & really in need of replacing, my Mothers on the other hand had a very modern flat screen TV, however we were only there overnight so I didn't make a fuss. Our room on the first floor was very comfortable but in need of updating especially the En-Suite, but everything in there worked & the water was very hot. Please do not reject this Hotel on these comments it really is a nice establishment, which it is obvious the Owners are upgrading.

We liked the friendly welcome and the very good breakfast. They were also kind enough to book a table for us at a nearby pub. The decor in the spacious room was pleasing to the eye and there was tea and coffee.

We had a ground floor room with 5 or 6 huge windows overlooking the front entrance and car park, which did not make for privacy! Also a large rubbish bin packed with black bags was right in view just in front of one window. Black out blinds might be one idea because in the morning we woke at 6 because of the huge amount of light pouring in from behind the flimsy curtains. We were also disturbed in the night by what sounded like a helicopter taking off - it was the fan in the bathroom,which produced a whole symphony of incredibly loud noises for about five minutes after I had tried to creep into the bathroom very quietly so as not to wake my husband! It must have woken up guests in any adjoining rooms too. Hopefully something will have been done about that as we reported it the next morning.

It was a great and friendly hotel, with good facilities and nice staff. The rooms were clean and there was a good quality breakfast.

It was advertised as being in Christchurch but it was a good distant away. The place is more in Highcliffe which had less bars and restaurants to choose from.

Friendly reception. Clean room. Provided with a good breakfast. The location was close to the New Forest and to the coast. Because they were not busy, they were kind enough to upgrade me to a larger room at no extra cost.

There was nothing that I disliked.

Warm swimming pool. Big bathroom. We were welcomed with a cafetiere of coffee & cake. Room clean with plenty of wardrobe space.

Long life milk in rooms was off, so couldn't use it. It would be much better if hotels offered a small jug of milk each day.

Walking distance to Highcliffe Castle, cliffs and beach. Bus stop adjacent for Lymington, Christchurch or Bournemouth (bus-passes accepted). Outdoor seating area adjacent to the (indoor) pool and surrounded by trees. Friendly, but not over-bearing, staff.
