The bed was the only good thing in the hotel, the bathroom was dire. The breakfast room was late opening and the breakfast precooked and indelible. Trying to check out was unbeleivabley hard due to the ill English speaking member of staff. Don't bother wasting your money, Leaving.

I really liked the fact that all the family could share an apartment and that there was a fridge, microwave etc. Each room having its own kettle and ample supply of tea coffee hot chocolate was really unexpected. I have never stayed in a 2* hotel apartment before and was impressed with the generally condition and cleanliness on arrival. The staff were relaxed and friendly. There was a fan (kitchen I think) that was rather loud and the clock chimed every quarter of an hour (outside of the hotel I think??) and so disturbed our sleep. The toilet cistern made an awful noise when flushed =would be so easy to fix! The toilet was clean inside the pan but the back of the toilet where the attachments are was flithly. One or two other places were also inadequately cleaned. (Overall though the generally area was very clean and tidy).

The location and price The only thing is if you get back late and have to use the key pad on the front door you can not see the numbers in the dark.

The four poster room was great a real treat such a comfortable bed and warm room The breakfast was awful it was served from 9am til 10 am ,we went down at 9am but nothing was ready the water boiler did not get the right heat at all over that hour. there was a large glass fridge with dishes of jams butter and sauces in it with 2 jugs of milk. the orange juice cooler was almost empty and it tasted off. the cooked breakfast was swimming in beans, the tomatoes tasted bitter. there was one piece of bacon and one sausage which i think was deep fried. hash browns were ok as were the fried eggs. one thing about the room there was no mirror in the room to use while drying your hair.

Room was spacious and plenty of tea/coffee with kettle, microwave and fridge. We didn't venture downstairs during our stay so can't comment on other than the room, breakfast and impression. Breakfast wasnt bad, table service and choice of hot foods along with colds. Free wifi worked great as a budget bonus. Bed mattresses 'weak', uncomfortable. Tatty end of the hotel, smell of paint, tear in settee cloth, cheap laminate floor, marked. Cold for a while with interesting plumbing.

Although value for money, and a good breakfast. The description was misleading, the ensuite, was horrible, the shower door didn't shut. Windows were really dirty, the flat screen was tiny. But the beds were clean and comfortable. Think they should be a little more honest about the room, and then you would not be expecting too much.
