The food was great value and of a very high standard with large portions. The comfortable bed. Friendly staff.
Nothing to put in here! Everything was good!
Lovely staff. Far too much good food. Reasonable prices.
Have to be a little careful finding the way in off the roundabout
Service when we arrived The evening meal
Value for money of the room Shower unuseable as a shower. Bedside lights didn't work Early morning call didn't come Couldn't set the phone wake up call Finally, when we passed the above and more back, we were told guest comments are the only way the hotel knows there are issues with rooms - really ? There has been no response from the hotel with our comments left via their website or when I got an email from them saying did I enjoy the stay - some customer service !!!
The whole experience was faultless. From start to finish
The parking facilities were good and the, location was good
This is very outdated hotel and not in the 21st century. The accommodation was extremely poor, the bathroom had a leaking toilet with a towel wrapped around the soil pipe and the floor tile joints had perished. There was water under the floor and smelt very damp. It was so poor that we decided to go home even after having paid.
friendly, clean, good value
small room no bedside lights in both rooms
Good size double room, the windows could be opened, large breakfast, clean and tidy.
Bath floor was wet, from under the tiles. Bed side light didn't work, TV rather old. Fusty smell to the room. Parking was difficult.
We used this venue for a wedding reception . It was perfect
Comfy beds, Great full English, Friendly team, Home style food
Poorly laid out bathroom Rooms need refit Bar area bit rough
The food was god value
The staff were not adequately trained and the young lady who finally checked us in was quite rude
Very small bathroom
Excellent breakfast, pleasant restaurant and attentive service.
Bedroom tired; cramped bathroom, a bit shabby, but understand a facelift is imminent...
The value of the accomodation and a good variety of bar meals etc
Room number one is very small
A very good Full English Breakfast.
En suite a very small Room only just adequate @ a push. A lot of Traffic Noise from the Road so could not have a Good Nights Sleep.
Good staff food great lots of it
Great location though a little hard to get out in the morning onto the roundabout. Room had a bath.
TV and phone didn't work. Bathroom a little tired but it did have a bath!
Good location, breakfast and evening meal very nice. Staff very helpful, couldn't do enough to help.
staff, food, location.
trying to find somewhere to park at night!! even though car park fairly large, at the time of visit not many staying at hotel but still could not park1
Bed comfort Breakfast excellent Cleanliness of room etc Smart friendly staff
Small bathroom Room in need of refurbishment Room could be noisy if there were a number of folk in restaurant or entertainment on.
Friendly welcome even late at night. Good breakfast.
Not easy to find (in the dark), simple room, tiny bathroom (room 24), quite noisy in the morning (constant stream of traffic outside)
Convenience. Room well suited our requirements. Breakfast very good.
Lovely little hotel nice decor! By far the best thing about the hotel was the lovely staff from start to finish it was Welcoming and friendly lovely people
The hotel could have benifited from a slight cash injection to just freshen up some areas, like the paint work and bathrooms in the rooms i saw.
really close to southampton and Portsmouth for night before cruises so no getting stuck in traffic.
The location of the hotel The food and drink at the bar was well priced and tasty and the breakfast was great!
The staff were slow to attend to our checking in and out The beds were wobbly and looking under the beds we noticed screws were loose and a couple were even on the floor The room wAs a bit outdated and could have been cleaner
We stayed here as it was the closest to Goodwood we could find that still had rooms left. Room was fine, bathroom tiny but for 1 night not a big issue. The restaurant didn't look that appetising so we drove to the high street a mile away. Bar was fine as we drank there after our meal. All in all not a bad stay
Small bathroom and the restaurant didn't look that good.
