Good value for money
Bed a bit hard
Staff very helpful . Good food we have stayed there before
Dark room; heavy bed clothes; minimal breakfast.
Excellent location, beautiful views restaurant lovely. Staff very friendly.
Mattress not very comfortable
hotel is supposed to be 4 star but the room we had would not have been out of place as a 2 star, small shower, only brown sugar no sweetener in with the tea and coffee
Room itself was nicely decorated.
Bed was horrendous! Mattress needed replacing as all the springs were pointing out and stabing into our bodies. Impossible to sleep! WC didnt work and we couldnt flush the toilet. Quite nasty really! Poor tea&coffee service, not even some biscuits... and only a small bottle of water to share between both of us. Disappointing experience!
Country location, views over open fields to the Battle of Bosworth location.
Continue to return regularly so obviously happy with the Arms. High quality food for dinner is a particular bonus.
Evening Food was very good but breakfast was very limited. No side plates, no yoghurts, fresh fruit available but had dificulty cutting it up as no sharp knife. cereals were all sugary ones.
Limited breakfast as stated. Rooms a bit tired. Dead insects on windowstill. Toilet bowl had limescale so needed a good clean
Very friendly staff who were accommodating to my business needs . I would definitely recommend this hotel & have done so already !
Lovely friendly staff, plenty of car-parking space and a great breakfast with service running right through til late morning.
We could hear every word of the conversation of the people in the nextdoor room. Given that 3 of us were booked in, we were disappointed to find just one 500ml bottle of water and 2 tea-cups on both days. This seemed meagre given the price of the family room.
The location and the place , good breakfast
The water pressure was poor and there was someone else jacket left in the wordrobe so was obviously not checked also the tea bags where not in an obvious place when we went down for breakfast.
Value for money Location
Restaurant and Bar all closed on Sunday night Beds were very soft
food was excellent and the room was very nice
It is in a truly lovely spot.
There was a type of clicking noise coming from the ceiling of the shower. I asked to move rooms and was immediately up graded which was lovely. However, clicking sound in this room too. Recon its some kind of meter in the ceiling, but is quite annoying in the dead of night. Still, would definitely go back. It's lovely.
Restaurant, staff & food always excellent. Good value for money, great location and very friendly.
Bedroom was very dated and in need of a proper clean, awful 70s style electric shower which was either freezing or scalding, but then again it was fairly cheap. The hotel owners are really nice, but need to spend a night in each room to spot the problems.
Lovely room with 4 poster bed.
The noise from upstairs, the people running around above your head. Obviously no sound insulation between the ceiling and room above. We had an accident when my wife tripped in an unopened drain on the footpath outside the rooms. *Beware* She was quite badly hurt twisting her ankle and grasing herself. No offer of any compensation!
Though the sheets were clean, the bedcover was full of stains and the carpet looked dirty. In general, the whole place looks like it could use refurbishing.
Dirty bed cover and carpet were kind of a up-off. Also, we ate at the tables in the bar area (so we can't speak for the restaurant section) and found that our table was sticky, as if it hadn't been properly cleaned for a while, rather merely wiped down.
Room was picturesque, with a lovely view Staff were attentive, and decor in the restaurant and bar area was nice
Full English breakfast was ok, but there could have been more of it for £8.95
We had a room over looking countryside first thing in the morning I woke to a beautiful view
Friendly staff. Good food.
No wifi in rooms.
Although a solo business traveller I stayed in the bridal suite on a Thursday night. Lovely and quiet. Restaurant has very good varied fare. Wine list is extensive with a very good range of wines; a Crozes Hermitage for only £30!
Very little. Always like a more powerful shower, but that is a niggle.
Nice location and friendly staff.
This was our second visit, and hitherto we thought we'd found a charming bolt hole. But we are unlikely to go back, because....
Unlike our first visit, this time the room above was occupied. We were woken in several occasions throughout the night (at about 11.30, 1.00, 4.00 and 6.00) by people moving about on the floor above. Very loud creaking floorboards, the sound of footsteps and voices. Reception staff on check out seemed unable to address our complaint in the absence of "management". A flat refusal to pay the bill and suggestion that "management" might be contacted by phone to address our compliant resulted in breakfast being taken off the bill and a free bottle of cheap sparking wine. It's a shame, but I doubt we'll be going back.
Lunch and surroundings good- helpfull staff
Didn't know that they closed Sunday at 4.30pm both in restaurant and bar.
