Really enjoyed our stay. Everything very clean, really nice room over looking the harbour on the river Dart. Staff very helpful and polite nothing was too much trouble. Excellent evening meal menu, food in the evening and at breakfast was very good. The lounge bar is very homely. Would we stay again, definitely yes. My wife's only complaint was the lack of mirrors on dressing tables to do her hair & make up. Electric plugs and placing of mirrors is somewhat disfunctional. |

The facilities were nice and clean. The Hotel has alot of Character and is something different. You can also have breakfast in the comfort of your own room. I went to the hotel expecting a spa bath and big comfortable dressing robes. This however was not the case. To me, the room was quite standard and i thought the value for money (£126) was extremely poor! After speaking to the staff about this, why gave me a bottle of champagne. I then saw a advertisement in the room saying we would get 10% off our next visit and a complimentary bottle of champagne. The Hotel didnt really go to any extra effort to please us. |

The restaurant overlooks a tidal boating pool and river. Excellent cuisine with an attractive menu. Good breakfast with choices that suited both my wife and me. Yes the lack of a lift, we were on the third floor! |

Very well spoken staff in the main area's It was nice to see this Bed very poor support and this is why not consider value for money as your room charge is for the over night sleep and comfort very important. Restaurant food not up to the standard expected, my meal went back, although no charge made - no other food offered just the dessert menu. |

The rooms are comfortable and the service was good. The hotel has a great location. Finding the last guest's earbud on the floor was a bit of a shame! Otherwise, the room was clean. |

Good welcome, very nice room, good evening atmosphere, will return. The bed base is a hazard as the corners project, and should either be covered by the matress or have the corners softened. My wife unfortunately cut her shin on this. I hope you attend to this health hazard, before we return. |

Excellent Food and very helpful and friendly Staff Room very small, very little Wardrobe Space, an inside Room, the Window was over the Stair well and would not open, there was an Air conditioner but it was facing onto the Bed, therefore the Room was very stuffy. |
