Score from 256 reviews Good
the bar prices was cheap the room was excellent I had a good view of the the sea from my room
parking the car but I did find spaces to park by the hotel parking over night that was free from 6pm to 9am
Price, location, cheap beer
Basic rooms & breakfast, noisy when pub is bisy
Staff very helpful and friendly especially Paul the owner. Hotel being gradually refurbished. Lovely position right on sea front. A lovely relaxing break. Only problem was the parking.
No parking available on premises. Parking along the sea front, although free between 6pm and 9am, could only be paid for 4 hrs max, no return for 4 hours. Otherwise had to park in side road 10 mins walk away.
Loud music with noisey people leaving bar area, toilets not very hygenic
A dirty hotel that in fact was a pub with a flop upstairs to sleep. Not good enough for DHSS people
The room was clean and the breakfast was adequate.
The room we were in had a cracked window pane which made the room feel cold, also the window blind had broken and we had to make a blind using black bin bags to keep the light out.
Nothing about the hotel. Burnham on sea very pleasant.
No staff at the hotel only bar staff. No management. To noisy with all the live music that went on for hours. Even after it was meant to finish! .
location staff breakfast (fair) bar tea and coffee in room
beds to soft curtains did not fit properly let light in shower did not hang properly toilet to close to bath breakfast tables were very sticky bath was not sealed properly
Our room was above a bar which was very loud with music until 11pm also the water pipes make noise all night. This is the first hotel that I have been asked to pay up front without even seeing the room.
Convenient,clean and friendly staff.
No on site parking.
dirty carpets, old brown bathroom suite, bed springs, damp and mould on bedroom wall, 80s decor, the hotel is the pits and i will not be going there again.
Location was brilliant, continental breakfast was good & fresh. Bathroom was very clean, room cleaned daily & repleneshed items.
Bed was really squeaky, even to sit on. Windows were filthy, overlooked the garden where people were drinking all day & night....apparently its open to all so everyone & anyone was drinking there. They stated free parking.....there isnt!! You can park in pay & display from 6pm-9am but have to be at your car to pay for your ticket at 9am.
I loved everything about it, I was a little worried about it been a pub and the noise etc but I didn't really hear a thing, I slept like a log. The staff were friendly and so where the people staying there. I didn't have any problems and thoroughly enjoyed my time there.
N/A other than I couldn't take the bed home with me as it was the most comforty bed every that I have slept in it was bliss.
It was very cheap
The building smelt of cigarettes there were discarded cigarette butts in the toilet of our room. The bar was full of drunks, the breakfast was rubbish.
Room was clean and comfortable.
Was disappointed with the breakfast. Not filling enough. Would have liked a cooked option.
location and staff excellent
Very dated, room above bar so the noise below as on business trip was hoping to get to sleep early but had to wait till bar closed.
Location (right on the sea front). Good supply of tea and coffee in the room. Close to cafes from which a cooked breakfast is available.
There was quite a bad smell (even with the window open all night) which I took to be pet urine, but the proprietor assured me was actually the materials being used in replacing the flat roof with a pitch roof, as they don't accept children or pets. There was no hot water from the shower despite leaving it to run for 10-15 minutes, but hot water was available from the wash hand basin.
Noisy at times but we knew that when we booked. We really enjoyed our weekend we will book there again.
This hotel is in desperate need of refurbishment! Breakfast (continental breakfast) was a joke. They need to google what a continental breakfast is!!
the whole package
lots to see and places to go. shops close
no off street parking no facilities for disabled
Central too everything and clean
Only a small room and only a three quarter bed .
Good value more like a guest house
