My room was nice and warm clean good powerful shower. Good bar staff were very nice.
The rooms are 80s style decor..
Food was good - had evening meal and breakfast. Dining room staff extremely pleasant and helpful.
Very small car park full, though street parking available. Room was generally shabby, carpet on the inside of the door had horrible staining. Only one source of electricity which was an old four-gang extension cable (not sure this is legal?) and one of those sockets was seized up. Bathroom was dreadful - water running backwards from the filthy taps (don't know where it drained), botched cutout panels where toilet and washbasin outlet pipes entered the wall, no surfaces onto which to put toiletries - wouldn't dream of putting them on the floor! - no sealant round one side of the shower (again, don't know where the water would have been draining). Bathroom gave us the creeps. Reported all these things to the receptionist who seemed amazed but the appalling finish and this degree of dirt didn't happen overnight. Just before we went there was an email inviting us to upgrade our room for another £10 - what an insult!
Friendly Staff Good Food
The nightclub was noisy
Breakfast was good and staff were friendly.
A number of dead wasps under the window.
Our room looked like it had been newly refurbished. Nice and modern. The staff were really helpful and let us have a late checkout as we had a late night at a wedding! The residents bar stayed open for us. Great facilities, no complaints.
There was nothing I disliked about this hotel. I would stay again.
Chosen for location.
Room Smelt of stale smoke Door very thin so could hear people in corridor very clearly
Staff in Bar/lounge were not interested one bit if I was there or not
We stayed here as attending a wedding in the town. Fantastic service when checking in until we checked out. Would stay here again no problem. Fantastic value for money.
The food was very good both the Breakfast and the Evening meal. Evening meal god value for money
Barhroom:- Shower was a bit small to say the least. Not much room to manovoure around a very small bathroom. Bedroom to many cushions on the bed when you took them off the bed there was very little room to put them, very neat room
I was central and served food
Convenience to town. Helpful and friendly staff.
The luxurious room had a lovely bed which was very comfortable.
The bathroom was very tiny and also we put do not destirbe on the door and someone walked in instead of knocking first because appartly that sign means you don't want your room cleaned.
